Hello! I've never worn make up before and I really want to start but idk where to begin... Also as for foundation do you have any recommendations for really pale skin tones? All the 'ivories' and 'pales' I try make me look like I have a fake tan... I guess that's a major boundary for me in the dolly style

Hey there! Going through the makeup tutorials on this blog is a good place to start (check the side bar for links and go to “tags”). Try looking through “Basic Skills” and “Casual Dolly Makeup” for starters. Try out some video tutorials to the best of your ability and keep on practicing!

I had the same problem finding foundation that was light enough. I did find that the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in the lightest shade was okay, but it personally made my skin quite oily. I have now switched to a CC cream from The Face Shop (a brand from Korea). I think it’s easier to find lighter shades in Japanese and Korean brand makeup. You can also lighten a foundation you already have…I know I have a video tutorial for that somewhere but I can’t link it right now on mobile.I hope this helps! orz
