Fireworks Wednesday (Farhadi/06): Impressive & entertaining with evocative writing & characters wonderfully realized on screen. Subtle but clear depiction of gender roles in culture and life with universal and specific themes about relationships. Absolutely riveting. The three female leads are especially memorable. I've liked the other movies by Asghar Farhadi - A Separation, About Elly and The Past but this one really jumps off the screen. Saw it @filmforumnyc.
