Kuantan with Firefly and Tourism Malaysia Day 1

On the first day after arriving at Kuantan, we were driven to Bukit Gambang. What's known at Gambang to many Malaysians?

Well, it's its huge waterpark, and the only water park in Kuantan. It's family friendly and you and and your family can have a drive up here from KL for a short, quiet getaway. It reminds me a lot of the old Fantasy World in Sentosa from the 90s where I had many fond memories of my childhood. The part about this resort is that it's quite unlike those in the big cities where it's noisy. It winds down in the evening and you can have a relaxing evening spending time together as a family.

Sadly for us, as we arrived a little too late at Gambang and the water park was about to close for the day. Luckily for us, after dinner and a cool shower, we could still enjoy the other facilities around the resort and sang our night away at the resort's KTV lounge.

We were each assigned a room!
