Something that truly is overwhelming is getting your first kitchen and realizing how many staples you need to buy and how much money it can quickly become

And not even extravagant stuff, but acquiring things like seasonings and cooking oils that take a while to get through so once you have an established kitchen you only have to buy them occasionally when you finally run out. But in a brand new kitchen you dont even have salt

And it's fine, it's just part of becoming an adult, but it is both overwhelming to consider what all you need to buy to make the kitchen feel like home
