Well, before we left, Rock U Otaku got in a huge shipment; there was SO MUCH MERCHANDISE that we had to set up an extra table to display about... oh, I'd estimate less than half of their plushies (bigger in physical dimensions at least, if not in number), and there are still plenty of figures, candy, etc. in storage boxes right now. What that means is that there was no room on the table for my art today. With any luck enough merch will sell to clear enough space to display my art tomorrow, but if not, it's all going to their next con.
I am incredibly happy that I got to come here. Didn't get to explore much, but I of course got to see Jennifer Cihi perform and gave her a copy of Welcome Back Sailor Moon (I have it up on my old DA account, but will upload here eventually), and I got to talk to a couple other vendors and had some good dialogue about making art. I'm really juiced up from all this, and really can't wait to work on more of my art and get this business going.
I took some videos of my adventures, including a couple of Cihi's songs, and will work on editing those very shortly and upload them as one video. (Yes, I asked her first, and she said she's fine with it. :) Although I don't think I'll upload them in full. )

I'm going to be at Worldcon in Kansas City, MO this week!
If you'll be there, my Lady Business co-editors and I are probably going to do a low key pop up meeting one evening, which we'll send out via our Twitter account, @feministpones. I'll also post about it on my Twitter account, too).

kinda bummed that work fucked me with my tables so i couldn't get the money to cosplay, but i decided to go as my oc nick and rp yesterday instead. today i went as a make shift pokemon trainer and carried around my giant umbreon plush. everyone loved it. i also high fived everyone in the rave at least 20 times each. sorry to everyone i bothered and annoyed with it. i was a little intoxicated.

Day one of Kumoricon: I have fangirled massively over a Kyouya, a Painted Lady Katara, and a Ja'far and Sinbad cosplay. Yep that’s me.
