Today is market day! I get so excited about it every week :'3 I love seeing what fresh veg is in and meeting up with my pals to do our weekly shop. The vibes- immaculate always.
Today I had a pot of oolong tea with my fish time.
Charles update if you'd like to read it: If anyone is interested we got a call from the vet yesterday with Charlie's results!
Ultrasound: all good, no change (which is good) and no new problems. Ideal results!
Bloodwork: His levels are starting to come down! This is fantastic. It is slow going but that's okay since they are moving in the right direction.
Next steps: continue with his current meds but we are adding a low dose chemo med (he doesn't have cancer but this med also helps with liver levels). So we will see how that goes for him.

God the emperor and Xiaohui went through so much to get Prince Jing. So awful. I feel bad for them and that experience of losing so many children. p77
The way I immediately disliked the consort and second prince. Their energy is awful. I would cross the street if saw either of them in the wild. p77

I love how they're all in the middle of this court drama and Prince Jing and this fish are just vibing while the emperor watches them. So so weird. p79
God, it's worse. She's hot, evil, AND a pick-me girl. pls. She is the worst character in this book. p79

I take it all back from when I said that the cat didn't deserve to be punished for being a cat. Fuck this cat in particular. I am fully team fish at this point. p81
The dramatics that this mother/son duo have going on is far too much, So extra. p82,
Okay but
I still couldn't tell you what the fish bowl looks like or how that cat climbed up to the fish and attempted to swipe it without ruining the shit out of Prince Jing's skin LMAO.
Someone please explain the physics involved in this scene because I have no idea.
