I just played my first ever DnD campain, and my character (Tora) is really strong and stuff. Like 6'6 barbarian half-orc with a +3 in strength. Buff lady.

Ok so there is a clipboard with the quest that centers this campain, and it has one of those dangley pencils. Tora does not like that. She feels like it's mocking her.

The clipboard was a mimic

And this buff half-orc who failed to break a clipboard was knocked out cold by said fucking clipboard in the middle of the tavern.

I just had my first DND session!

It was crazy fun and not at all awkward, like I was worried it would be. We went straight from session 0 into role play cuz we got through it faster than the DM expected, and though we haven’t been in a fight yet there’s already a missing person and mystery and tensions and I’m hella excited!
