Comrades,I will probably not be updating my daily writing word count for the rest of the month… because!

I started in September, got consistent in December and tonight, in June…

I have just finished my first draft!

576 handwritten pages!!

An estimated 91,000 words!!!

Thank you to those that have commented and been supportive and liked my posts. You’ve all bolstered my spirits and soothed my soul when the self doubt monster reared its ugly head. The inner critic, the relentless imposter syndrome - maybe you can’t kill those voices, but you have to turn the volume down, ykwim?

I’ll of course be posting 2nd draft nonsense because it helps me to yap here.

Prince for Hire - Draft One Complete

Well, all, my estimate of done by the new year was apparently too generous! Just finished up this first draft of Prince for Hire. Some stats for you!

YES! PINEFEST IS DONE - i mean, it still needs an edit, and then a Beta but first draft is DONE! with time to spare! so now i can concentrate on the DWBB!

And the first draft is complete! It’s so rough but there’s something to work with. And to say I’m chuffed is a huge understatement. I set out to write a thousand words a day. I never expected to get to 40,000 words and a full first draft. 

If you’re still going, keep at it! You can do it. I’ve got your back!
