#first extermination

Do you ever think about what the first extermination would have been like for the citizens of Hell?

Did they have any warning? An inkling of what was to come? Did they know that something was amiss with the king and queen, but weren't sure what that meant?

What would it have been like to be an old sinner, in hell for centuries, witnessing the sky open up one day and have angels descend? How many tried to fight the angels before realizing it was a losing battle? Did some not even bother to hide, thinking that the angels would not rest until every sinner was slaughtered?

How much was hell in disarray after realizing that not even the strongest sinners, Alastor and the Queen, were safe? We the viewer know they survived, but after that first extermination, did hell know?

And then when the angels disappeared, how many continued to live in fear? Not knowing if or when the angels would come again. How terrified was the average sinner after the announcement that the exterminations would be upped to every 6 months? What if they upped it to every 3? Every week? To a never ending slaughter?

fun facts about this one :

i didn't put adam in here for a simple reason ; i dont actually think he is there at every exterminations. Also Adam would probably derange the tone of the comic specially in this part

-ive find this screenshot on my pc and i have no idea where its from probably somewhere in the pilot but where ? who knows, in any case, i kinda liked their low cut shirt and emphasize their long bird like neck

aaaand we're here ! say hello to rich hellborn kids renting a flat in Greed to have a party. Only thing ? Today is extermination day. Charlie ( Charlotte would say her boyfriend ), has never seen a extermination. Always couped up in her dad manor while other hellborn would assist at the event. Tonight feels special. Sevian has invited her, its feel like a naughty night. What could happen, you know ?

im pretty sure there is an ocean in greed or at least a a sea so (blitz said so)

the light setting in Hazbin and Helluva boss always seemed to be the same. i know there is a cycle night and day because they do go to to sleep, but i couldn't find any screenshot where indeed the sky seemed to be more obscured

the ringed wings stars over there is not used

that thing is not visible everywhere but in this comics yes it is

so im head canoning that usually heavens is using it but for the attack at the end of HB they used a special portal to attack directly the hotel (pretty sure its canon but you know^^)
