Orchestra was awesome, although the pieces are quite difficult (I am a terrible sight reader). On that note, I got promoted to first flute! Not section leader, which doesn't matter to me because I'm not a music major, but there is only the one flute part for both pieces we're playing this semester.

I feel like a Beethoven (of some sort...)
So there are nine flutes in the symphonic band this year and we had a playing test to determine our chair placements. I panicked and did super bad (aka breathed every two measures....) But after like three weeks, results finally announced: I. GOT. FIRST.
