Ohh this is the record company that will hopefully be behind alot of good stuff in the not so distant future
While sitting at our team meeting a couple weeks ago, I had this moment of realization. I thought to myself "man... this team is great. I love robotics." After explaining to outside people what FRC is, I got more and more passionate. Lately, it has just snowballed into this deep, loving feeling towards my team and robotics as a whole. I don't think people appreciate the amount of time and effort we put into this. They don't appreciate the family we've built within our team. I just wanted to spread this thought :P I hope all of you had/have/will have the chance to be a part of such a great group of people. Robotics is so important, not just for scholarships or for becoming an engineer. Robotics is so much more than that!... and on that note, you look lovely today <3
Bahrain's Got Talent - Week 1
Our first meeting was today. Quite a sceptical it was, anyone could tell this had been our first time, as an entire group to conduct something “formal”. Many attempts at keeping order was taken by both Fatima Al Majid and Jenan Benahi; the directors of this event. It came as a shock, the amount of people who turned up, and according to who showed up we were assigned roles. I was informed that I would be the c/o head of Finance; thought not my first choice I was quite content. The meeting consisted of everyone being assigned roles and whether or not they will or will not come to the actual auditions to keep everything in order.
Simply put, though the meeting was chaotic, it was our first time; and things should get better in time. Ideas were also exchanged throughout the meeting and people were introduced to BGT as a CAS Project. Our first project. That day was also the day I had my first job - to decide on a charity to use for the “service” part. I chose the Be Free Centre. For, there is nothing better than helping the miss-fortunate children of this community.
- Also the attached picture is of the logo they showed us for the entire event!! It looks amazing! Also, it'll be printed onto shirts for us to wear in rehearsals.
