Six days and probably 20 hours of hand stitching all told, at least judging by the number of TV show episodes and Youtube documentaries I've watched while stitching.

Clint was walking through the compound after another mission. "No." He said to his best friend as she fell in step next to him. "Come on you need to get back in the game." She countered. It has been a year since the other half of the population came back and within that year him and Laura drifted apart. It was a clean break they both have custody of their children and they were able to split things fairly. Anyone that glanced at them would guess that their still the same happy couple.
"Just one date,Clint. This friend of mine...real sweet, smart, funny and she loves archery!" Nat said trying to bait him in and dammit he was interested now. It's been three months of her taking him on blind dates and each time he turned it down or never bothered with a second. "I'll make you a deal! If this one doesn't work out I'll leave you alone about dating." She offered and that caused his steps to falter.
Turning on his heels he sticks out his hand. "You got yourself a deal." He said shaking her hand after she placed hers within his. A wicked grin pulled on her lips and he was already regretting his decision. Nat grabbed his wrist and dragged him to his living quarters to get ready. A sheet of paper was shoved in his chest. "This is where the date is going to be. Don’t be late." She said with warning in her voice. “Wait it’s today!?!?!” He shouted, but it fell on deaf ears. That's where he left him looking down at the paper was the address to a nice little restaurant.
~Time Skip~
Clint drove to the address it was a Italian restaurant in the heart of Brooklyn. He stepped out of his car adjusting his tie for what felt like the millionth time since putting it on, but he had to put his best foot forward. Going inside his nose was insulted with the heavenly smell of pizza and pasta. The lighting was soft which made the whole establishment seem warm and welcoming. “...shit!” He mumbles under his breath he had no idea who he was looking for. Clint couldn't even see any clear tables available to sit at.All of them taken by couples or groups of people laughing whipping out his phone he text Natasha.

He sighed and slipped his phone back into his pocket. Going up to the hostess and cleared my throat having the small blond woman look up at him from where she stood in a black dress and flats. “Hello, party of two under the name...[L/n].” Clint said the girl nodded and began lead him through the many tables to the back of the restaurant to a more secluded area way from all the noise. Fairy lights decorated the out door eating area there was only a single table with a off white cloth over it.[H/C] head of hair faced away from him towards the view of a already lit up park.
Clint's nerves seemed to hit him in the moment he stepped in font of her. She was breath taking in every sense of the word. The way her skin glowed under the light, a soft smile pulled on her glossy [L/c] lips as she tilted her head towards him. Her [E/c] eyes were hidden behind [F/c] lens shades that matched her [F/c] dress.
She stood up and reached her hand out and he took it gently shaking. "Hello! I'm [Y/n]." She said and damn her voice was just as angelic as her appearance. "I-I'm Clint." He stumbled over his words. Why was he so nervous around her? His cheeks flushed pink, but she didn't notice or didn't tease him about it and he was thankful either way.
The date was amazing they laughed and joked around, but had pleasant conversations about life. At first it was tense since their both technically are strangers within in minutes that quickly changed. She didn't bring up his work which he was thankful for Y/n just ask about him not Hawkeye making her just that much different then the others.
It was getting late yet neither of them wanted to need the night just yet. They split the check after a small argument, a very pouty man, and a women in tears laughing. They walked to the park across the street not to far from where they were seated. [Y/n] had her hand hooked in the crook of his elbow as they walked and talked more. Her head was leaning on his shoulder as he spoke to her. Clint knew that at times he could run his mouth a lot,but she never interrupted him and listened with a keen ear often making little comments to show she was following.
The night was no longer young places that weren't twenty-four hours closed their doors to later be opened in the early morning. Clint hated to admit it,but he was getting tired himself and [Y/n] letting out a small yawn proved that the feeling was mutual.
Together they walked to his car which was the only car left in the parking lot. "Where's your car?" He asked trying to see if any cars were on the meters which there were none. "Oh no! I don't have a car. I walked here earlier since I lived so close." She said giving a small shrug. "Its too late...let me give you a ride home." He offered not feeling right letting her walk back so late into the night. "Alright, handsome." She said with a smile and Clint couldn't get the stupid dopey grin off his face.
Clint opened the door for her as she climbed into the jeep. As he walked around to get in the driver's seat she was feeling the smooth leather of the dashboard under her fingers. "Nice Jeep." She said as she traced the letters in the name imprinted in the leather. "Thanks." He said buckling up. Clint didn't notice before, but she was very touchy feel of all her surroundings and her comment make he wonder. Why did she compliment his car after getting inside and not when they were standing next to it?
She told him here address which was only two blocks away. He put the car in park. Her home was sandwiched in between many other buildings. Clint got out the car and opened the door for her. She blushed and thanked him. Together the walked up the short staircase to the wooden door. Fishing her keys out of her purse she unlocked the door and stepped inside. "Do you mind coming in?" She asked as he stood on the porch. He nodded his head, but she made no motion that she understood the gesture. "I don't mind." She beamed as him and moved out of the way so he could step inside.
[Y/N]'s home was very neat and organized. It was all [White or Black] with hints of [F/c] making it pop. She walked over to the living room area and sat on the sofa. She beckoned him over and he followed her actions. Y/n slowly took of her [F/c] tented glasses showing beautiful [E/c] eyes and looked in his general direction, but never directly at him.
That's when it slowly started to click into place. The was she made sure that her side of the table stayed unchanged, why she felt around her surroundings, and why when they were walking she made sure she had a hand on him. "Are y-you blind?" He asked which made her laugh. "I thought Tasha told you. She told me everything about you." She said with a smile on her lips. "She left that out.” He mumbles.”Hope that doesn’t change anything.” She said looking down bashfully. “No!No,it’s not that it’s just how did you know it was me that arrived? I could have been anyone." He said.
The soft smile on her face as she lifted her head back up. "Tasha isn't completely crazy. She went in great detail describing with audio of you.I know it all from you voice to the way you walk." She said as got more comfortable on the couch. "But I wanted to paint my own picture on what you look like. So if you don’t mind me being all over you feeling you up." She said popping the p in up making him chuckle on how innocent her request was,but dirty wording of it. "Go ahead."
With that she scooted closer to him her hands starting on his hands going up his arms. She kept trailing up til' she was at the face. [Y/n] used her finger tips as she traced every part of his face getting a more in detail picture of what he looked like. He had light stubble and laugh lines. She felt his hair was shorter on the sides, but growing back in. Y/n placed both of her hands on his cheeks.
Their faces inches apart. "You really are handsome. I'm a lucky girl." She said as he blinked up at her. "I think I'm the lucky one." He said and the small space between them was closed as their lips connected in a gentle kiss. If you really have a connection with someone love truly is blind.
