My neurologist’s office is situated in a quaint AU completely devoid of new-fangled gadgetry like email, scanners, electronic file archiving, or patient/physician portals. I can’t go back to work until they fax a permission slip to our HR department, provided they can get the fax machine to work (it's about 20 years old, I've SEEN it). My doctor is upping my seizure meds, but won’t let me drive until he snail-mails a paper prescription for new bloodwork to my house. I feel like there may be leeches, cuppings, and possibly confinement in an attic in my future. Which is really inconvenient because I live in the 21st century and I GOT SHIT TO DO

I hate it when the YESTERDAY bar appears on my activity log, and it’s “Tomorrow.” Means I’m supposed to be in bed, but I’m not and don’t wanna go to bed cuz gotta go to work tmrw and ah FUCK!
