BioSA First Year Rep Elections
BioSA will be electing our very own first year reps on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015. Elections will be held 5-7 PM in MW170. Candidates and voters are required to be present by 5:00PM at the latest. Please arrive early to allow time for checking in. Also, we expect the room will fill up -- FYR elections in the past have filled much larger rooms, even with less candidates.

Walking into college, I was scared that I was really hesitant to get involved. It was daunting to see that I was just one person among 23,000 students here at UCSD. However, I took a chance and interviewed for First Year Rep for the Muir College Council. I am so glad that I took a chance and went for it because being a part of the Muir College Council has definitely changed what my college experience could have been. Being a part of an organization as great as MCC has been amazing thus far. It has also given me the chance to be part of the Associated Student's First Year Council, where I get to work with nine other amazingly talented and driven individuals. I've become Co-Chair of the programming committee, and we're working on so many great events for the year! Working with so many driven and inspiring people is pushing me to push my limits and better myself. I can't wait to see what the next few months have in store for me. It's been a blast thus far. It isn't easy balancing everything, but I love what I'm doing right now. I'm hoping it all pays off in the end.
