I’d have to say that’d be Laila!

They’re in the same grade, were in the same tournament, and I tend to HC they became friends rather quickly. Most of the fandom agrees, most likely due to their similar space imagery. But anyway, Laila tends to be a set stone due to her cool attitude, and Pamoon finds it hard not to be calmed by her presence. Perhaps it’s also because they went through the same trauma and had the same fears about it….it’s easy to relax around somebody who happens to know personally.

He’s stuck in a new trashy city, living in a new trashy district, which is rather fitting. Or— that’s what they call it, at least. Beta, or whatever, as if they’re cool for naming places after Greek letters, and that naming them all fancy would somehow make up for how messed up this all is. If they really wanted to be smart they should’ve put him in Alpha, or Delta, but they’re probably too stupid to do that, anyway, though it’s not like Ichimatsu’s complaining any.

Anyway.

He’s got ESP Kitty with him, at least, and even though he’s lost that weird psychic ability of his and can’t spit out that bullshit anymore, Ichimatsu can’t help but feel grateful for the company. With the cat in tow, he’s managed to find the same snacks he’d fed to the strays back home to offer to the strays here, too. Maybe strike up some friendship with the the same way he’s done it at home, and make living here even at least little more bearable.

Ichimatsu’s waggling a snack at one of them— a small long-haired tabby with striking green eyes— when he hears someone approaching. Blinking, he looks up.

He frowns.

“Osomatsu,” he says, bluntly. He holds up the bag to his older brother, and rattles the snacks inside, to draw attention to it. “Do you want some?”

Zura’s an all-weather warrior, outside no matter what the weather is. But I think warm, breezy, sunny days are his favourite. Less obstacles to whatever he’s doing, anyway. The breeze is important to give his hair a bit of motion.

His nice laugh: hanging out with his friends. Playing games and telling stories.

His nasty laugh comes out when he’s belittling someone and/or announcing his own triumph. It’s the laughter just when he’s about to blow up the Shinsengumi, for instance.

What do you think about your mun’s friends?

“They’re pretty sweet to her. She’s not that happy all the time, so being able to see her give a smile at the people she talks to is such a relief. Everyone deserves to feel good every now and then!”

What do you think of your mun’s style?  

“It’s almost as good as mine. She doesn’t go outside of the house unless she’s satisfied with how she looks, just like me! I can’t say that her taste in fashion is as good as mine, but it’s up there. If she added a leather jacket, she’d look amazing.”

What do you think of your mun’s sense of humor?

“I don’t get it, she laughs at everything. Even if it’s just a video of a corgi puppy struggling to go up a few stairs, she laughs. She has an odd sense of humor, but whatever makes her happy is good!”

my first impression of your muse: This Osomatsu-san series is. mY. NEMESIS. I can’t even differentiate between my twin friends IRL, and yet there’s a series on sextuplets that my buddies want me to watch... That said, Osomatsu is always my favorite next to Choromatsu. Older siblings rock. 👌

my first impression of you: I was really pretty happy when this Osomatsu liked my first starter call here, but at that time I still wasn’t too familiar with Osomatsu-san and all I thought was, I can’t really let Eliza hurt this PURE person... I was in a predicament

my favorite thing about your muse: Probably the fact that he’s the oldest and yet just as silly as some of his younger twins. He’s like that one friend in a social circle that always pops the joke no one laughs at - but he still enjoys cracking them; that’s the charm about him; and people would find it weird if he stopped doing so one day.

my favorite thing about you: Honestly I think you do Osomatsu lots of justice. You made me continue following the series! I wouldn’t worry too much about him not constantly getting fresh with girls to be honest - Oso-san is one of those series that’s almost a complete gag in itself, so I don’t think a character has to be confined TOO strictly to his defining traits.

would I ever consider shipping our muses: I’m too busy worrying about Eliza rendering Osomatsu a changed (read: traumatized) man, honestly........ May consider it if they develop an interesting relationship dynamic though!

a plot I’d like to see between our muses: Canonwise, Eliza has always been pretty condescending towards humans, but I’d love to try to explore a plot where she comes to tolerate one without turning up her nose at him or putting him in any sort of danger, really. Maybe as an alternative to (or after we finish) the prodegression event thread, we could do something to that nature?

an AU I think would be interesting for our muses: Any sort of AU where a relatively good, upstanding personality like Osomatsu is actually able to act as a moral compass for Eliza through their acquaintanceship/friendship/etc...

     “Uuu? Uuuu?!”

Recognition, a face she’d seen in what the humans called ‘games’, earlier, this young man was quite kind to her, so she’d viewed him in a slightly positive light than normally she’d take with others. 

Approaching them, she’d take one of her hands, and curl her digits in, in order to imitate the ‘thumbs up’ gesture she’d learned. Yes, it was good to see a face that wouldn’t be violent to her. 

Especially...a human who didn’t view her as a monster. Would he be scared if he learned who she really was?

...She wouldn’t risk it.

        【★】When he had received the gift from his same voice buddy, he knew there was something he had to do as well. Off he went to find him, fists excitedly banging on the door, probably too many times. “Ooooi! Osomatsu! Osomatsu, where art thou Osomatsu!” Being a public disturbance is something the teen does naturally. He came here with a mission. A mission he’s clearly very eager to begin.

“Ah... When is it going to snow more? It’s not like there’s nothing, but winter isn’t as much fun without a ton of snow on the ground...!”

He pouts as he speaks, crossing his arms briefly before he notices that he’s not exactly alone here, and awkwardly laughs off his expression.

“A-- Ahaha... I was complaining out loud, huh? Whoops!”
