❤️💚💛Chapter 6 is finally up! ❤️💚💛

Summary: Carrie is disappointed after informing Rick Flag, Sr of the doctor's orders. Harcourt gets a promotion, even though it doesn't sit right. Her feelings are hurt after risking her pride to be vulnerable to him. There's a week vacation and an impromptu road trip. No big whoop.

I'm sorry it took so long. I just found out about the AO3 curse, and it apparently happened to me. The place we were staying at was sold, so we were looking for a place to live. We found one and are now settled, so I hope I'll be back at it. I just want to thank you guys for reading! I can't believe I have 120 hits. It's super cool, and I hope I haven't let you all down.

Since it took so long, I'm going to let y'all know about Chapter 7. Or the one called "Chris and Carrie get comfy cozy in Cozy Grove." But under the break so not to spoil it if you don't want to know about the next chapter before I post it.

Basically, Carrie Kelley was in the Gotham Girl Scouts. And exemplary Scouts were given a choice to go and prove themselves by helping this island camp full of ghost bears to move on. Carrie went and had the best summer of her life.

Chris' secret destination? His father's cabin, where he will reveal to Carrie the QUC.

Carrie has no idea that she's about to revisit one of the best times of her life.

I cannot wait to start writing it and was inspired by @dreamlight-weaver and her wonderful Stardew Valley and Disney DreamLight Valley series. (I highly recommend them).

Anyway. Again, I thank you guys for coming along on this journey.

So, I know I haven’t been keeping a posting schedule and I’m so surprised that I got to chapter six before that happened lol.

I’m Sorry.

I was planning another Chris and Carrie story but an AU, and now it’s turning out to be an actual original story as I plan and write.

I have to get everything fleshed out before I’m ready to share anything. But I’m super excited to start this journey.

I don’t know when, or if, I’ll get back to The Bird House.

Grimm Rapids is calling.

I’ll keep everyone posted.

So, while I was thinking about my new fic, I may have come up with a New Lantern Corps.

Oops.

It’s going to be hella fun building it.

So, there’s a new fic coming:

Peacemaker: Salvation. It picks up after season 2 of Peacemaker and contains the comic book iteration, kinda.

It’ll explore surviving a new world then the ramifications of that when our people come home. Expect some trauma, angst, and pining.

I think Bird House will be on hiatus for now.

We’ll see.
