A fabulous Gather feast with Break Bread Hospitality.
First Thursday at Gather by D'Amico in the Walker Art Center is always a celebration of local food and drink talent. On February 5, Gather welcomed Chef Jason Gibbons of Break Bread Hospitality as guest chef for the month. Chef Gibbons crafted two small plates for the evening that will be available on the menu every Thursday from 5 - 9 pm for the remainder of the month.
Bacon wrapped medjool dates, shishito peppers, tomato chili jam, chevre 9
Smoked paprika cured golden beet salad, blood orange, extra virgin olive oil, arugula, cabrales, marcona almond 10.5
And if the chilly weather has you shivering, be sure to try our Hot Toddy cocktail that will warm you up inside and out.
Jason Gibbons is executive chef for Break bread hospitality and currently oversees Zelo, Bacio and Vivo Kitchen. Identifying and teaching talented people, as well as fostering long term partnerships with farmers and purveyors are chef Jason's secret ingredient to success. When Jason is not at the restaurants, you'd find him on a “love of food” vacation, playing golf or volleyball.
