Armin and Eren's friendship was stronger than with anyone else (Eren loved Mikasa, so it's different). What I mean is that even though Eren pushed Armin away during his "I'll kill everyone" arc, he was the one who saw him since the beginning. Eren gave Armin what he didn’t have and showed him that his dreams could come true. He took him to the sea and made sure he would be okay. I don’t love Eren, but I don’t hate him either. I feel like Eren’s loss impacted not only Mikasa the most, but Armin as well. While he might not have been at Eren’s grave with her, the soul of his best friend never left him. Armin didn’t need to visit the grave to acknowledge him: Eren was in the sea, and I’m sure Armin often went there.
