Delivered one of the bought prints from my show to a huge art-collecting family yesterday. It is now hanging on walls occupied by Norman Catherines, Edoardo Villas, Cecil Skotnes, Diane Victors, et. al. And that is very, very cool!

Reactions to my exhibition

I've had red dots, I've had goosebumps, I've had tears. The last two - priceless. Thank you for your responses to my vision, for seeing it, getting it.

The eternal war with the I'm-a-Fraud Monster #firstsoloexhibition

'And insecure voices wake us and we drown', to paraphrase T. S. Eliot's 'Prufrock'. Damn. Nothing like the pending public eye of an exhibition to bring out those negative inner voices. Bravely fighting inner demons 

And as difficult as it is, I'm finding the whole process fascinating - the very humanness of it. So I'll keep speaking and writing about the frailties and utter magic that is this ride. That is, after all, the whole point - sharing one's very human journey, rather than social media platforms becoming some unreal highlights reel for how we think others want to perceive us.
