FAQs: I've Never Been Travelling Before. Where Do I Start?
Well, if you’re from the UK or other European countries, I’d say Europe’s your oyster!
It’s near, easily accessible, similar to your home country (with regards to religion and cultural beliefs), and many people speak English. Not to mention Europe has some amazing and beautiful places!

The other good thing is it’s fairly cheap to get anywhere (compared to flying halfway across the world). You can pick up a return last minute or a month before for under £50 easily out of season. Also, travel insurance is cheaper because of the joys of our EU cards.
Europe has a lot to offer. So travel away!
Alternatively, if you were hoping to venture a bit further afield I’d recommend working abroad...
Camp America (above: with new friends), au pair work, ski seasons and teaching English are just a handful of options.

Opportunities like these will mean you have an interesting and unique job where travelling is easy on your time off, as well as before and after your contract, and you get paid. Meaning you have more money towards exploring the world. The great thing is that by working away from home, you will meet other like minded people in the same situation as yourself, who you’ll really bond with during your season abroad and you’re likely to find people to travel with once your contract finishes. Winning!
It’s a great experience and fantastic way for inexperienced solo travellers to make traveller companions, or just for the ongoing adventurers!
So, what are you waiting for!?
