My kids earned a trip to Chuck E Cheese today. As soon as we get here 2 customers were complaining, lines were long, and the card machine wasn't accepting cash. Every table was dirty or occupied....I got really frustrated and was [this] close to going off on the manager too. He looked tired, so I asked if they were understaffed. "Yes," he sighed, "Four people did not show up." I chose to be tolerant. Everyone and every business has a bad day. Then as the Universe would have it, Caitlyn's card gets lost/stolen/forgotten with 100 plays left on it. I find the manager, apologize bc I know he's busy, and tell him the sitch. He didn't hesitate one moment before taking my word and giving me a 100 point card. Now imagine how silly I'd have felt if I had bitched him out only moments before......#justbreathe #weallhavebaddays #firstworldstories (at Chuck E. Cheese’s)
