do you fuck with my fish angst?
I'm so tired because apparently I only draw when it's late at night now because that's when I make my best art and uh yeah
CW: Blood, bandages, and stuff like that

queijo-marmelada replied to your post “3,50€ por uma sardinha”
I don't normally have fish die on me but when I do it's in a mass die-off sort of way
water change yesterday and my whole school of harlequins is dead this morning. I should probably test the water but I lost my kit somehow. I'll ask my mom to do it.
I tried to re-redo the 20L and now I hate it even more. *headdesk* And it's not like I can just rip out my whole dwarf sag carpet. I just need more plants. Or I could just take out all the plants except the sag and make it into an igwami-type layout. Even though I usually don't like igwami. I could take out the swords and pot them and put them in the goldfish tank. And then when my plants from aquabid get here I can put the Vesuvius sword in. I hate my stem plants. Seriously, someone come and pick up my cabomba. But I kinda like the Ludwig. Bahhhhh. Igwami and driftwood it is, I think. Good thing I bought all those terra-cotta pots awhile ago. Plus the bottoms are already sealed. I'm just upset though. Now I'm rambling. Raaawrrr okay bai.
Every time I recommend a plant that I personally haven't kept I feel guilty and awful.
I need to keep a hygrophilia species. But I hate how terrestrial most of them look! Am I the only person that thinks that a lot of hygros look really terrestrial? Is that just me?
Our fish is dying...
I'm having a hard time actually caring.
Story of this fish: It and several others belonged to someone else who then dumped them on us. We added them to our plethora of other, much cooler fish that had been around for some time now and were chosen from the pet shop by us because we actually liked them. Those fish had names. This one and his now deceased companions do/did not. They are now all dead. All but this one. He has outlasted and has been functioning in solitude for YEARS with a fish tank all to himself.
I think my mother feeds him. I know that I don't. For all I know he's been living off of whatever algae grows despite our filter. Now, he's swimming sideways and I'm thinking this might actually be it. I fed him out of pity. I don't actually want to see anything die especially if it's under my family's care but really there's only so much you can do with a fish.
Hopefully it won't be painful and we can fish him out before any mold starts growing like that suckerfish we had that one time.
