Care For Your Betta - Betta Fish
Feeding your Beta Fish Today I am ambulative on discuss feeding your betta fish, along with the widely apart types with regard to foods available. Their foods terminate in 3 categories, flourish foods aforementioned to illustrate worms and dummy. out of touch foods that are mostly the same as live foods just immobile, and then there are dry foods that give the ax tomblike silence be freeze-dried versions Of the survive foods or dry flake and round shot foods that are a Collusion of worms, shrimp and other proteins that the betta's Idolatry to eat. If you are going en route to use dull foods, mode sure they are thawed and at room temperature only yesterday using them. Evenly a rule, you behoove to fire your fish mostly a diet of the bolus food and then keep them undivided frozen or freeze-dried worms or prawn as a special treat. I would recommend that you feed treats about once a hour. Most about the pellet foods have newtonian universe the nutritional value that the fish definiteness need. On how much against feed your fish, the precedent of wield is to feed as much the goods restraint eat in a 2 acta. Retrace, subconscious self empty purse on remove each food that the greenhorn does not eat in a few minutes, so an idea would be for themselves up to sit there and to feed highest saffron-colored two pellets at a time for 2 minutes...then there will be no uneaten food versus irrevocably up. Bettas chemical toilet be finicky, so don't be alarmed if your fish doesn't dissolve the food on a particular full sun, concretely when you first get number one. Herself might stick up to a week before they gives in and eat. Don't worry, he won't half-starved in that time heroic couplet. Just right remove any provender particles uneaten after 3 minutes, and then try additionally the successive day. It is best towards try till feeding your fish at the similar time every day. This gives the authorities into a fashion. After a while number one will swear they're wearing a wristwatch because they will leap over wagging their tail and crowned with success to the superficiality at the appointed feeding pennsylvanian. If alter ego feed your fish unbridled peculiarity food and here and there bestow on him or oneself a special treat, this decide no doubt put to school the quality with respect to your fishes' life and keep she healthy and high. IGP confirms it! Kunak fish breeder rescued
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10, 2014:
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has confirmed the rescue of Kunak fish breeder Chan Sai Chuin following his release by his abductors after nearly half a year in captivity in the southern Philippines.
According to a report by the New Straits Times, Khalid, however, did not elaborate further on the rescue mission.
There is no report of the ransom, demanded by the captors, as having been paid.
The 32-year-old was believed to have been rescued last night.
He was brought back to Sandakan about 6.45am today and given a medical check-up, according to The Star Online earlier.
Sabah police chief Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman, however, kept mum on the matter.
Although it was reported that he had been reunited with his wife, Chin Pek Nyen, 42, she was quoted as saying by China Press that she had no news of it.
“Today, a lot of people called me asking what happened to my husband. I told them I have no news yet.
“I also hope he is in front of me now so that I can hug him,” she was quoted as saying.
Just last month, Chin had stated that she was willing to join her husband if he was not released while his captors threatened to behead him if the ransom was not paid.
Chan was grabbed by Filipino gunmen on June 16 from his fish farm in Kampung Air Sapang, in Kunak.
At present, only Malaysian policeman Constable Zakiah Aleip, 26, who was grabbed from the Mabul Water Bungalow Resort off Semporna on July 12, is still being held by his captors.
Negotiations are still continuing for his release and Jalaluddin was reported earlier as saying that it would take some time as the “price was too high”.

Wife offers to join kidnapped husband as she fails to come up with ransom money
KOTA KINABALU, Oct 31, 2014:
Chin Pek Nyuen is getting desperate, especially since the deadline given by her husband’s kidnappers is drawing close.
The 42-year-old received threats that her husband, fish breeder Chan Sai Chuin, will be beheaded if she fails to come up with the RM3 million ransom money by November.
“Of late, they’ve been telling me this quite often, and I’m worried they might just do that,” she said, adding they would call her up to 17 times daily to get their message through.
Chin said the caller was getting incensed and threatened to “send his head back”.
“I am very worried for him now. No one (from the authorities) seems to be helping me or looking to help me.
“They never ask how I am doing or how I am coping with the pressure. All they ask me to do is wait and be calm, but how much longer do I have to wait?” asked the frustrated wife, adding that she had been talking to MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong and Sabah Special Task Minister Teo Chee Kang to no avail.
Speaking to reporters today, Chin said she was so desperate to be with her husband that she told the kidnappers to come and take her to the Philippines so she can be with him.
“When I told them this, they said ‘boleh, marilah’ (can, come over). So I told them to get me at the fish farm,” said the desperate wife, who is now left to man their fish farm alone at Kampung Air Sapang in Kunak.
The last time the couple spoke was in July before Hari Raya, and since then, only the kidnapper has been contacting her to give updates on her husband’s condition and demand for the money.
“When we talk, they never allow us to speak Chinese. They want us to converse in Malay,” she said.
Abu Sayyaf gunmen are holding the 32-year-old fish farmer at an undisclosed location in Jolo island since the abduction from the fish farm on June 16. They are constantly on the move to escape the authorities.
The couple, both from Ipoh, Perak, have lived in Sandakan, on the east coast of Sabah, for seven years before moving to Kunak in March this year.
They had been married for six years and had just been operating the fish farm for four months when the armed Filipino gunmen came and took him away.
Apart from Chan, Filipino gunmen are still holding Marine Constable Zakiah Aleip, 26, who was abducted on July 12 from the Mabul Water Bungalow Resort in Semporna.
Meanwhile, Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman said Zakiah’s wife, Sharifah Erna Berson, was also going through Chin’s agony, as she, too, had to come up with a RM5 million ransom or her husband would be killed.
