Domestic house pet whumpee who is so dehumanized and under-stimulated that the highlight of their day is climbing onto carewhumper’s pile of warm finished laundry about to be folded. Or getting ten minutes of ✨grass time✨ outside on the yard. This can apply to institutionalized captivity universes/bbu where the sight of a human pet outside isn’t uncommon, or maybe carewhumper just lives somewhere isolated and remote.
I also like when pet whumpee has been captive for so long that they get petty about simple things. There’s a “pet playdate” and they don’t wanna share their toys. They hide under the table or bed when guests are over. Their heart sinks when their owner gives another pet head scratches. It’s retrospectively humiliating but it’s all they know now.
