I don’t have my hopes up for a fusion tonight and tbh I’m okay with that, the most arbitrary of reasons being that Smoky Quartz is too dull to represent gems so vibrant as Peridot and Amethyst.
(I mean don’t get me wrong it’s a lovely stone and when I say dull I don't mean it in a bad way I really just mean unsaturated but it just doesn't feel amedot-y)
Okay yeah Shelby Rabara said she likes Lap///idot and pear///lmethyst but apparently she also said she likes Pearl and Greg which we all know is not going to happen sO I think we can conclude that this doesn't indicate the actual future of the show Plus, if any ship were to become canon, I highly doubt she'd be allowed, much less want to mention it... ;)
I still really want Peridot to accidentally fuse with Amethyst
