being the eldest child, and having a v distant mother (emotionally and physically), i never learnt how to do hair things. i just can't do them - it's so hard. makeup is my jam but hair stuff is like another language to me.
i've taught myself a basic 3 strand braid which is my go to. and i can also french braid my whole head in pigtails now but not as far back as they should go because it makes my back ache to hold my arms up that long.
but as of today i have learnt to fishtail braid! which is actually really easy. next time i'll probably do it in pigtails so it's not so much hair to work with all at once, and i'll use smaller sections of hair to feed across, but honestly this was my first go, normally i fuck up and take it all out and try 100x before giving up but
it's not bad. it's pretty cute in fact.
