Okay, so I’m going through the “betta rescue” tag and I’m seeing a lot of great stories of happy healthy fish, which is great! However, I’m also seeing a LOT of stories along the lines of “I saw this poor baby at my local walmart so I kidnapped him!” and “I’m babysitting my neighbor’s fish and he’s so neglected I’m going to tell them he died and keep him!” And I totally get the compulsion… I’ve seen bettas time and time again I want to rescue but people have to understand that theft is NOT HELPING. You know what your neighbor is going to do when they hear their fish died? Go out and get a new one and treat it the exact same way. You know what Walmart is going to do when they see that their merchandise has been stolen? Order more fish. You may have saved one fish yes but you’re doing nothing to help the ignorance surrounding proper fish care. EDUCATE your neighbor. TALK TO THE MANAGER at Walmart. Spread good information. Don’t be a thief.
Hey, my airstone has some white stuff growing on it. Is it bad? Can I get it to stop?
Um.. I don't know what it could be without seeing it. Could do make a photo?
Anyone an idea?
