check out the new guys in the 30 gallon.
just a reminder that BN plecostomus are completely off their tits 100% of the time
not gonna be hardscape only much longer.
this is my favorite of my new bolivian rams.
really hoping he finds a girlfriend soon.
Just realized my last photo of this tank on my blog is of it half torn apart. Shit was rough for a couple weeks while the cabomba unmelted and got over itself. I thought I hated it. Now I love it. I put the rocks back in today and hell yeah! I dont feel sad and ugly anymore. I have legit been working on this amazon community for over three years and I am FINALLY READY FOR RAMS. Not sure if I’m gonna get them from pacific aquarium or breeder on fishlore. I really want two that are already paired off. Before they go in I’m getting four more corydoras paleatus to fill out that shoal but dear god it’s happening.
Above: last photo ever of the SA tank with only hardscape. It was beautiful and I loved it but it was not ideal for the fish.
Below: SA tank with new cabomba aquatica.
The ember tetras have never been so happy. I’m not sure how I feel about it! Planted it in the play sand with seachem root tabs. Fingers crossed. I planted alternathera reneckii in my new high tech tank (photos to come don’t worry), so hopefully it takes off in the next few weeks and I can add that to this tank as well.
And with a few more plants, it’ll be ready for a pair of rams!
Nighttime vibes. Can you guys spot the difference?
