yes i did, as a kid (think 7 or 8) for a few years. i had two guinea pigs, macy and peppa, and they were just the sweetest little things. peppa was more anxious, and macy was more outgoing.
guinea pigs are pretty easy to care for. youre meant to have at least two of them, since theyre herd animals. youve mostly just got to water/feed them, change their hay and bedding, and give them adequate enrichment and you should be good to go. sometimes youll have to scrub their cage, which is annoying but not that bad.
from what i remember guinea pigs are super sweet!! sometimes they make a purring noise when you pet them :3 they really love chewing on anything and everything though =_="
macy sadly passed away :(( and i had to give peppa away when we moved from alaska (i really hope shes doing okay!)
