I do feel kind of bothered that someone dislikes Christmas, since the holiday makes me happy. However, I then remind myself that I dislike coffee, despite the stuff making a lot of people happy for some reason, and think "that might be similar". To each his/her own, I guess. [shrugs]
Try to imagine someone who was forced to do family get togethers every christmas in a broken abusive family full of screaming, crying, and alchohol
Top that with being in poverty and being unable to afford anything for christmas while everyone else goes on and on about their super nice gifts that they got
Top top that with snow that literally turns in to ice pretty much instantly because the weather can’t decide if it wants to snow or rain
Sprinkle on christmas carols and ads starting in november, christmas stuff showing up in stores as early as august
And add a dash of seasonal depression
