aw you're so sweet!!! i am totally following your blog now :)
Hi! I was wondering if I could ask a favor. I am a recovering anorexic and I was looking for some healthy fitspo/body positivity blogs to follow. Could you give me a few, or post this to your followers so I could follow whomever likes this post? I swear I am not trying to gain followers, I just know you have quite a loyal audience and perhaps you could help me in my recovery!
Of course! Give it a like, you guys :)
To the recovering anorexic who wanted fitblrs to follow, it may not be the best idea to get yourself in fitness and healthy eating during recovery. It makes a lot of people instead become obsessed with that stuff to an unhealthy level, especially if they're still in recovery for an ED. Focus on healing yourself before working out. Think to yourself: is the wish to be fit really a construct of disordered thoughts?
great point anon, thanks for sharing <:
i would just like to add that online communities can be a double edged sword - it can be a great motivation to cultivate healthy relationship with food, body image, and self-esteem but it all boils down to which side of the online community you find yourself in.
i think that’s why i only recommended blogs that are body positive okay scratch that because i dislike to label blogs, but you get what i mean. blogs that do not post fitspo. ultimately, it depends on what you have on your dashboard and what you want on your dashboard.
everything is about moderation <:
but thank you! i think i needed to clarify that as well <:
