Hey I'm a junior but I'm turning a senior in September. If I took a precollege class in spring 2013 at fit, would it greater my chances at getting accepted ?
I honestly can not reply to how big/small anyone's chances are of getting in..since I am neither in the FIT admission's committee and nor do I have any idea of what goes through their minds when they're deciding on which students to finally admit. Sorry, I just won't do that, in fear of disappointing anyone in the end:/
From what I've heard, and from what FIT says themselves, it really is a plus to have taken pre-college classes..they give you experience of the school and maybe even in the major you're applying to. And maybe you have had one of the professors who are in the admission's committee in your pre-college classes, and they know that you have been a good student, so they can recommend you.
BUT..most people who apply have not taken pre-college classes at FIT (I hadn't done that) and you can definitely still get accepted if you haven't:) I keep repeating it, but as with any success..no matter if it's successful relationship, a successful career or a successful something-else: there is no clear recipe. It's very indivudal.
