2017 vs 2018 preschool graduation. Y’all it is amazing the difference a year makes. One year of loving myself more and doing what I needed in order to be happy. I will be honest, this journey is not all sunshine and roses. It’s that but it’s also storm clouds and doubting yourself. I have doubted myself and the progress I was making like any other person. I’m human, I’m not perfect and I’m okay with that. This year has really been about embracing the body I have and being happy with myself no matter its size and what the scale says. My thighs are thick, they will probably always touch. Even though I’ve lost weight, I actually gained and inch and a half on my hips and ass and you know what, that is okay too. I’m learning to love me regardless. So what does all I’m saying amount to— it’s simple, love yourself. Love the body you have.
