A Pair of Ghosts

Chapter 6

For the next couple of weeks Fitz and Jemma talked more than they had in the five months they had been back. Jemma often joined Fitz on his afternoon walks. Then it became their ritual on Wednesday nights after these walks to go out to dinner.

It was on one of these nights that Fitz and Jemma sat across from each other at an Italian restaurant. They both had blood shot eyes from having bad nightmares the night before. They were tired and a bit nervous being out in the world. However, both of their therapists told them they needed to go out into the world more.

“I got a call from Coulson,” Jemma said taking a sip from her wine glass. “He said that there’s a new tracker that Mack’s been working on. They’d like us to take a look. Would you be up for it? He said we could come by after dinner tonight.”

Fitz sat there for a moment in silence. It had been three months since he’d been back at the base. Occasionally, he would take calls to give his advice, but going back was an entirely different thing. However, his therapist had encouraged him to push him self a little and not be afraid. “I think that sounds alright.”

“Good,” Jemma smiled. “I’ll text him and let him know.”

anyone else worried that Kasius (how are we spelling his name?) might turn off Jemma’s hearing again? like... idk....  just cause he still has the remote right. and the thing is in her ear so.... just like daisy’s inhibitor

I assume now we’ll have to deal with the fact that Fitz is not going to tell anything to Jemma, that Jemma will find out eventually and she will get really really mad or Aida will do something really really bad and in the end they will fight and WHY MY BABIES CANT JUST BE HAPPYYYYYY

So what I'm seeing is: everyone I care about is still alive, no one is stranded on maveth, fitzsimmons are back together, will is gone so no more love triangle, and ward is dead (even though he's possessed now). Did I actually just watch and midseason finale that didn't leave me in tears?????

My feelings on the weird liquid rock (SPOILERS)

Ok.. Now that I've got some sleep and some time to think, I believe I can be on tumblr without using all caps. So here are my thoughts. I have no doubt that Jemma is alive. I think the rock thing could either be some sort of portal, or some sort of diviner like object that affects inhumans. That way, it will be all unknown because Jemma prob isn't an inhuman and all the people who know what it is are dead... Nice. I feel like they are trying to replicate the bits of the last cliffhanger but instead Fitz has lost Simmons. I also think that there will be some mental or physical to Simmons because why wouldn't they put us in more pain?
