the things i do for love - an olicity fan fic.

Fandom: Arrow [Featuring Players from The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl] Characters/Pairing: Oliver Queen/Felicity Smoak, minor!Barry Allen/Iris West Rating: PG-13 Word Count: 1,769 Summary: The Misadventures of Oliver Queen at a Pop Culture New Years Party thrown by Cisco and Barry, including a Han Solo costume, lightsaber battles and really bad British Accents.  Notes: While this is not my first fic in the Flarrowverse this is my first Olicity and Arrow fic which was written for a friends secret santa. I hope you all enjoy it. I cracked up while writing it alot. This will be a series when I have time to show what happens with the other party goers XD.

I love that it was MJ's POV and the slowburn for her and Peter was perfect (their friendship was so cute too). Ooh, masterposts are a wonderful. I'll have to check some out for Spidey comics

yes i agree!! it was such a good comic honestly i’ve told my friends to start out with that comic if they ever wanna read mj/petermj stuff. mostly because it’s short like everything else has so many issues but this one is only like 20. but it was done so well. i wish more comics had mj pov. you should read renew your vows if you haven’t!! there was like 5 issues that came out last year and they just rebooted the title and only one issue has been releasted. this next issue (it’s out wednesday) is gonna be really mj centered, i’m so excited!! and it’s like au since they won’t let petermj be married in 616 (fuck marvel) so this is basically like what their lives could’ve been like if they had stayed married. but i wouldn’t say you have to know everything about 616 to read it.

SPIDER MAN LOVES MJ is like one of my favorite comic series ever. Which isn't really saying much bc I haven't read many comics (bc I never know where to start, lol).

OH MY GOD I KNOW SAME LIKE IT’S SO CUTE!! i knew about it when i started reading comics but like never necessarily wanted to give it a chance because i didn’t really like the art. i’m so picky about that lmao. but then i saw a masterpost with all the issues and like telling people to read it so i was like, OKAY FINE! PLUS MJ POV!!! I LOVE IT. and yeah i loved it so much like it’s beautiful. i also once read an article saying that it was a beautiful comic and practically fanfiction for spidey comics and i died. like it’s so good and cute and honestly mj’s growth as a character in that is so good!!! and i love her and peter’s relationship despite them never getting together in it. and then like lizmj!!! they pm overcame all the obstacles in their friendship which was beautiful. sm loves mj was great!!!! i’m actually really happy jon watts used it as inspiration for the movie. 

AND HONESTLY i was the same with comics. i generally just found masterposts for my fav characters or ships and went from there. and then i always saw a few blogs recommend to start with ultimate spider-man for spidey so i read those first. i should probably reblog some mj, peter/mj, and spidey recs here :)

I still really really love Never Had by Oscar Isaac, tbh. But War of Hearts by Ruelle is another favorite of mine.

i remember you told me about never had and then i listened to it and didn’t stop for a good couple of months, haha. oscar isaac is just so good. i’m gonna go listen to it now
