April 5th Happy First Contact Day
Things I see on my Desk
Walking in the woods
So I know it is August, but back in June I took these photos of the Pink Lady Slipper Flower. I just came across them while going through some photos and messing with my old camera.
The Lady Slipper is a deep woods flower in the Orchid family and used to be a protected flower, but has reclaimed its standing despite diminishing wooded areas up here in the north of New England
Not the greatest photos, and no camera could them justice, but still cool to come across while hiking in the wood near my camp.
Wildflowers
Mucking about with my Camera
Just another day at my Desk
More Home cooking in the Troll House Kitchen
I was in the storage stuff in the basement and what do I see, but a I vertical roaster just waiting for me, so I dust off the box and take out the stuff wash it all good for a chicken to be stuffed!!! Roasted chicken and gravy with squash and mashed potatoes. Oh and don’t forget the carrots. This what my awesome “Suppa” looked like....
Return of the Sheet Pan: Adventures in Meatballs
Trying my hand for the first time in making homemade meatballs and let me tell you I not only made a mess, but I had a great time, and they came out really delicious.
*I did not use the Napa Bucket... this disclaimer is for my smart-ass wife*
Scallion Pancakes
This was my first attempt at Chinese Scallion pancakes, Sorry I didn’t take better photos or any of me making them, I will have to do another entry on this one because they came out well and they tasted as good as you get in a restaurant.
