I remember thinking "if Euyn or Mikail die in Four ruined realms, I won't buy Three shattered souls"

.....I bought it before I read Four ruined realms. Five broken blades ended with no main characters dying so it lulled me into false sense of security.

I thought it would be Mikail because he's so competent! Then Euyn would have more character development but be miserable without him. Or he would lose his mind. AT LEAST THEY DIDN'T STAB EACH OTHER, HAD A HORROR IMAGE OF MIKAIL LITERALLY STABBING EUYN IN THE BACK.
