Incredible shocked by the lack of anything about the 5 generals being a polycule like hello??? The dynamics??? I can't believe myself soooo hcs!
Ryusui, Senku and Chrome are chronically planning and pushing to get stuff done, they're always trying to rush ahead to the next thing trying to stay on top of things especially when the moon trip is over and they need to get society back and running. Which is why Ukyo and Gen are there to pull them back, they can keep up with them if needed but they're main goal is to get the three to actually think in the present. A minute to stop and breathe.
They also handle a lot of the diplomatic stuff (i can't remember if it is mentioned what Ukyo does at the end of the manga but i imagine hes one of the main people to help on the revival front) and absolutely refuses to let the other three do the talking, senku and ryusui are both blunt as he'll and they're words can be misinterpreted easily, Chrome could handle himself but I imagine he's picked up on the bluntness along the way.
On that note the four of them love to take Chrome out whenever one of their favouite things from the old world gets brought back, like their favourite drink or a show they enjoyed just small little things that he's never experienced parts of them that they want him to know. Chrome then takes them to do new things too, things they never got the chance to do in the old world (like he finds out Ukyo has never gone bowling and Gens never been to an aquarium).
Ryusui spoils the hell out of all of them constantly buying gifts and stuff but whenever the others spend time with him it's late at night or them doing the most domestic things for him, like fixing his clothes, bringing him lunch or just chatting with him. Things he never got to experience growing up, that warmth of a family. They remember small things and do them wordlessly leaving him speechless and flustered each time.
Senku just likes existing together. It's like the domesticity they do with Ryusui except its with everything. Senku and whoevers available will work on their own things just in the same room. Or they ask what he's up to and get dragged into doing some wild experiment. He revels in the way he makes them speechless and they let him go on tangents and actually keep up. He's similar to Ryusui in which he likes giving them gifts except they're all made by him and its mundane things that just make their lives easier.
Ukyo is the one they all go to talk with. He makes sure to keep up with all of them and ensures they're actually taking time for themselves, he's honest but not blunt so they always go to him for advice or just to talk. Like all of them at some point in the week will just walk and talk with him about literally anything. Not just to chat but also to for physical affection, some of them are well mildly embarrassed about being so vulnerable but will take every opportunity to hug or hold hands with him. He absolutely adores it especially because he knows the level of trust they have in him. He also compliments them a shit ton, like its says it so simply that it takes a second to register.
Gen is like a constant presence. He makes time to visit each and every one of them and keeps up with all of them whenever anyone is away. Like he'll always just know what's going on in their life. He also gives out the most affection, like instead of others comming to him he seeks them out and pulls them into a hug or holds their hand because a) he likes doing it and b) he knows they need it. He genuinely praises them to everyone he meets but teases them to their face. If they're angry or upset he knows how to pull them out of it. And so they all tease him back or shamlessly compliment him because it genuinely leaves him just speechless or incredibly flustered. And whenever one of them wants a distraction they go to him first and let's him do whatever magic trick he can leaving them either deciphering how its done and genuinely invested in it
