thinking about a Glitch Techs au where everything with Hinobi is the same except all of the Bailey techs happen to be streamers

Miko: smaller streamer who’s mainly known for her intense rivalry with MitchFTW, mostly plays games with lots of fighting and violence. super competitive and doesn’t have the patience for most chill games (she does semi regularly do Minecraft streams though). Five becomes a common co-op partner after they meet and shows up in a lot of her streams. everyone thinks she hates Mitch until he also starts showing up in her streams to play with her and it confuses everyone

Five: i truly believe this guy would be a primarily Minecraft streamer, but he does toss in some other games every so often. it just happens to be his favorite bc he enjoys being able to just chill when he’s streaming. when he does a stream with Miko on his channel, it’s usually Minecraft. used to absolutely idolize Mitch until they met in person and then end up trash talking him with Miko. again, everyone is confused when the two start doing streams together somewhere down the line, around the same time as Miko & Mitch streaming together

Mitch: fairly similar to in canon for his earlier streams, but after working for Hinobi he becomes noticeably more intense and tends to prefer fighting based games. rarely acknowledged his rivalry with Miko except when they ended up against each other in competitions prior to when the two start streaming together. however, they both remain very competitive with each other, even when Five manages to convince them both to play a chill game. they manage to turn Stardew Valley into a competition and Five still doesn’t know how. around this time he also begins to do some calmer game streams on his own, and it’s not uncommon for him to mention both Five and Miko casually as if those two hadn’t spent the better part of several months seemingly hating him

they also all have other very active social media accounts and around the time that they start streaming together, people notice that they all start showing up in each others social media posts a lot more. nobody knows what happened for them to suddenly become friends except them
