some thoughts about darius’ design under the cut, more of a rant and character edits about what i think is the reason vogel doesn’t exactly look ikevil’d
darius’ chest feels way larger, like massive:
the chest to head ratio feels like a villainess manga lead, where the man needs to have bigger tits than face.
to me, the problem feels less uncanny valley, or new artist, more so his face to design. he screams slender, the white clothes are too bulky on his frame and his waistline feels like it should be silvio slutty. the colors they chose for his character don’t exactly fit the thought i have with big tits, especially with his expression. his arms themselves are super slender with the fingers, yet his chest is so huge along with his waist that is much larger than expected. especially when compared to the characters already available other than jude who has pretty big tits. most of ikevil’s designs feels like their waists are slutty, starting from his clothes is the problem. he’s just so rectangular or squared. i also saw nika? and think his clothes are way too large as he also seems like a nokto playboy.
ring looks relatively similar artstyle to ikevil though compared to the two which got me thinking it’s most definitely because of the clothes, along with the proportions we are used to and established with for the past few months to year. though the brothers hair color just doesn’t sit well with me, for now. it really feels like they just threw darts to pick colors.

his design to me to be clear is not an intended hate for the body shape, it’s the fact that his character design looks like they choose colors and half of him were supposed to be smaller, yet they then chose to give him a huge chest and hips in comparison to his thin neck, and thin wrists. they should of committed to either fully bishounen or fully tiddies, not some inbetween. here his head were increased, neck thicker, and changed his face to have a darker contrast without changing any shape to his torso or waist. darius figure is highlighted by the belt, making him look extra large, but they just didn’t commit to making the rest of his body large which felt off to me visually
