I am def going to do a short piece called Ace Attorney: Interlude (Five Cases from the Greatest Law Firm that Never Was) with quick blurbs of cases that Mia and Diego take between him joining Fey & Co. and Apollo coming to work for them. There'll be a background summary, victim and defendant name, and one or two overall arcs (including Larry coming to work for the firm). Also Mia gets accused of murder in one of the cases.
My traffic at fanfiction.net spiked on Wednesday when I posted part four of Five More Scenes, which is awesome. It's got the most hits of all my work over there for January so far, beating out Turnabout Lockdown for the top spot. But I've had no reviews for chapter four, except for one on the Kink Meme and one from akadriver in chat. Did the sad Miego stuff put people off?
The next scene will be a bit happier. Also, I kinda want to do a little bonus fic with summaries of five cases Mia and Diego take during the seven years when Phoenix isn't a lawyer. Call it "Ace Attorney: Interludes". Featuring the return of Larry.

I'm having a lot of fun writing in the "Five Scenes"/Mia didn't die-verse. It's so interesting to go back through the canon and think about what might be different if Mia was still alive. I might be able to write a third installment when I finish this one. A reviewer suggested a take on "Rise from the Ashes", which would be interesting. It'd mirror Turnabout Goodbyes perfectly, and in the "Five Scenes"-verse it would be the first case Mia's taken the lead on since her assault. I also feel like there should be a scene where Mia and Kristoph have a conversation that's wonderfully pleasant and civil on the surface; "oh I'm so glad Phoenix has someone to talk to, ever since he was disbarred he's cut all contact with me" with Mia maybe trying to get Kristoph to give something away using her D-cup Distraction Power.
If anyone has any other suggestions for scenes they'd like to see, drop me an ask or a submission. I can't guarantee anything but I will consider all of them.
