Repost if this show was on for basically your whole life
DID THIS SCENE EVER HAPPEN AFTER 6A’s FINALE OR HAVE THEY STILL NOT EXPLAINED IT. BECAUSE LIKE. WHAT DOES IT MEAN.
Five Years Forward - 2023 || Andrina Capitelli-Triton
Andrina had always prided herself on her intelligence and after graduating undergrad in 2019, and then another four years of medical school, she jokes that she’s earned the right to be boastful. However, the only thing she boasts about more is marrying Valentina in the spring of 2020. After talks of taking in Valentina’s sister and starting their family, they agreed that Andrina would carry the children. She joked that their timing was perfect, allowing her to graduate medical school before her pregnancy slowed her down too much. With her due date in September, she’s just glad she has time to relax during the summer.
Five Years Forward - 2023 || Socorro Benavidez (née Rivera)
Coco, while already being branded ‘Mama’ in 2018, remains relatively the same in years to come. By 2023, The Rivera Family Shoe business has never been stronger. She’s hired a few more shoe-makers from outside the family to help lessen the load as the business grew. In 2020, Coco met her future husband, Sebastián Benavidez, they fell madly in love, and were married by 2021. Now, in July of 2023, Coco is five months pregnant, expecting their first child. She wants to be a traditional mother and stay home with the baby, but both she and Sebastián know that it isn’t realistic for her. While she helped build Rivera’s here in Santa Monica, she won’t be able to leave for too long and let it be run by someone else.
Five Years Forward - 2023 || Astrid Hofferson
Astrid graduated from the SMPD Academy and quickly made a name for herself among the ranks of officers and detectives. She and Henry had become friends over the years, but she had been so focused on her career that she hasn’t had much of a social life. She’s tried to be better about a balanced life, but it doesn’t come so easy to her. Whether it’s the late night shifts or the days off, she’d much rather relax at home than go out clubbing. Surprisingly, Astrid has become more relaxed in the last five years, learning to keep her cool during investigation and high-strung stand-offs. She is still single and adjusting to her life on the police force, but hopes it won’t be like that forever.
Pretty Little Liars Season 6B review
7/10
Spoilers for season 6B of Pretty Little Liars.
I enjoyed this season of Pretty Little Liars (PLL). Some may disagree with this and I can see why. The mystery/crime aspect of the story this season was awful. The entire season they were convinced the new A was Sara. Maybe it is just because I watch too many shows but I knew that if the person is a suspect from day one they are not the big bad. I liked the portion where they thought it was Melissa because all clues perfectly lined up to being her. An aspect of the show that has always annoyed me is that the girls will throw suspicion at anyone, Including their friend’s families, but when it is a member of their family they can not seem to believe it.
They advertised the season as supposedly epic with real threats to the character’s lives. I did not find that true at all. Emily was “attacked” in the hospital and it was never cleared on if she actually was. She was chased by a car, which I do admit was suspenseful, but was left unscathed. Aria was the only one actually injured and even then it was over technology, which to me portrayed the new A as a coward. The liars seemed to think Ali was also attacked by the new A but she just tripped. I did not understand the liars fear of talking to the cops because they had no reason the new A could do anything to them. I was also upset that they had not learned from their mistakes of going places alone and not telling people. Ezra was in a large portion of the season and still did not know what was happening till episode 19.
The reason I enjoyed this season, and I enjoy the show is the characters. I love how the characters had grown over the 5 years. I liked seeing them as more mature and level headed. The shipping reached a new level with the ship I always expected to happen, Spaleb. I am conflicted on the cheating in the finale. To me the Haleb kiss was awful because Hanna is engaged and Just that morning Spencer told Caleb she loved him. I love Ezria, so I was not upset they were back together. I know it was cheating but even Aria said things between her and Liam were never that serious. I am loving the slow progression to Spoby getting back together. It has been teased that there will be a liars wedding next season. I hope it is one of these ships but i am worried it will be Toby and Yvonne.
My 100% favorite aspect of this season was the flashbacks. There was only a few but they were placed perfectly and had way more impact than if it was just information told between characters.
The parents were okay this season. I did not hate any of them but I feel the had no profound impact on my enjoyment of the season. I absolutely loved Veronica Hastings. In past seasons I had always hated her. This season she seemed human and to actually care for her daughter. I was upset we never found out how the moms got out of the basement.
I am left confused by the finale. Who was sending the texts, Sara, Dr. Rollins, Mary Drake, or someone else. They never told us who actually killed Charlotte. I get that it leaves questions to be built on for the next season but to me it seemed they should have answered something instead of giving more questions. Overall it was one of my favorite seasons and I am super excited to see what comes.
Calling it now: Hanna's not dead.
Do you guys remember this scene from 6x10?
This was a flash forward past what we have currently seen. So Hanna must be alive.
Also, worth noting that in this scene Ali still signs her name as “Mrs Rollins” so I don’t think that the liars are aware of “Elliot’s” involvement...
