Bonjour!
Remy! -smiles- I haven't heard from you in a while. How's life?
We can't stop here. This is Bat Country.
She'd known there was something wrong the other night when Xarus seemed so intent on hiding his hands. Why hadn't he admitted he needed help? Vampire pride, most likely.
Rogue hurried to suit up and gather a few pieces of unusual equipment. Tranq guns, a few nets, and fresh changes of clothes in case they were needed. Then she hurried out to the hanger and started up the engine on the smallest plane. It would be just large enough to carry herself, Gambit and X-23.
...did he just call mah mama 'sloppy seconds'?
Ah may still have a lot of anger towards the woman, but a gal's gotta defend her mother's honor. Seriously.

Ot'a moi speaks d'truth.
Get Me Out Of My Mind
She'd been forgiven.
Forgiven.
Why? Why had Rogue and Remy fought for her? Why had Eve begged her not to leave?
She walked from the room quickly, having made some excuse- an evening counselling session with Rogue- and towards the dining room, where she knew there was a liquor cabinet. She checked that no one was in the room, before opening it and taking a large bottle of gin.
She was going to show them just how much of a screwup she was. This way would be better for Eve. This way, it wouldn't take long, wouldn't be a long serious of mistakes followed by two people being utterly heartbroken. She wandered through the halls, avoiding as many people as she could, before she found an empty bedroom, looking around before slipping into it. She pulled the door behind her, not noticing that she left it a crack ajar.
She sat down on the empty bed, holding the bottle up to the light. She carefully opened it, looking down at the liquid through the neck, before holding it up to her lips.
She remembered how it had been the last time she drank, how painful having her mind opened so wide had been, how broken she'd felt because of how bad everyone else felt. Because of how dark the world was. She took a large sip, grimacing at the taste. She regretted not bringing a mixer. She took a larger gulp, the taste of it filling her mouth.
A few minutes later, she could feel it take effect. She carried on drinking, downing most of the bottle before she could even feel it, before she started to get lightheaded. Before her head started screaming at her. The students all over the Academy, the people all over San Fransisco, even those on Utopia. She could feel them all. It hurt, so bad. All the whispers of emotions, all the hurt people felt. It filled her mind and almost made her scream, whimpering quietly to herself.
This would show them. She was messed up. She didn't deserve Eve's love, Rogue's friendship. She didn't deserve anything. He'd told her- her father- he'd told her how worthless she was. He'd shown her how useless she was. No one could love her for long. She was just making it easier for them.
She dropped the empty bottle on the floor, her eyes rolling into the back of her head as she slipped backwards, her head hitting the bed as she slipped into unconsciousness.
