Sitting a coffee shop I was on my computer working on homework. Currently doing my Trigonometry project that in my opinion stupid as all hell (I’m totally not projecting on the reader). I let out a frustrated groan as I once again read over the instructions and still having no clue what the teacher wanted me to do. I had my notebook open and flipped through notes hoping that could help me in any way yet got nowhere.
You know what, fuck school. I minimized the tab and I felt an empty feeling wash over, not knowing what to do now. I took a sip of the tea I had forgetting I had it simply due to the fact I was too busy stressing over school. I let out a sigh and closed my eyes trying to lessen my stress.
The sound of ceramic hitting wood caused me to open my eyes. A guy took a seat across from me (I was sitting in a booth). He was handsome I’ll give him that and to be honest I was surprised and confused on why he sat by me when there were many empty seats. My terrible social skills were apparent when my mind went blank, not knowing what I should say. I stared at him from behind my computer screen trying to make out what he wanted. He looked at me for a few seconds before going to stare out the window.
Deciding to ignore the weird cute guy in front of me I pulled out my phone to text my math group chat to see if my friends could help. They didn’t reply fast enough for my liking and I decided that I should read the instructions one more time. Reading it more thoroughly I finally understood the basic of what I need to do. I smiled proudly at myself for being smart enough to slightly understand. I wrote down the correct equations in my note book and solved them, not really caring if they were wrong.
“You did it wrong,” The guy finally spoke up pointing at one of the problems I solved.
I looked up at him and shrugged, “Too bad, teacher’s gonna have to deal with it.” I looked back down at my work and I heard him sigh.
“You forgot to add 4,” He hummed as he took a sip of his coffee. Looking over my work I realized he was correct and went to fix it.
“Thanks,” I thanked him. “My name’s (y/n), nice to meet you!” I smiled nicely. It was nice of him to help a stranger with their math work.
“The name’s Five,” Five replied. “Nice to meet you too.” During our entire interaction he didn’t smile once and it made me kinda nervous. I didn’t want to annoy him but he was the one talking to me.
“Why am I helping a stranger?” A voice said in my head. I furrowed my eyebrows not understanding why that went through my head? The sudden thought made me lose my focus on what I thought was important.
“What the hell...” My thoughts trailed off as I stared at my computer confused. And of course a song got stuck in my head and that moment and I tapped my pen to the imaginary rhythm.
“Why is a song I never heard running through my head?” The strange voice said once again.
“Okay this is weird, why would I think that about (favorite song)?” I thought.
“What’s your favorite song (y/n)?” Five asked me randomly. I tilted my head to the side and sent him a stare of confusion. “Humor me.”
“(Favorite song),” I replied. Five looked at me with a look of realization but his face went back to his normal stoic look. He nodded and then looked back out the window.
“So I do have a soulmate,” The voice said in my head and I felt my eyes widen. I totally forgot soulmates were a thing. I remember my mom saying something about them before but I never truly believed her. What did she say about them again? Once you meet your soulmate you gain a mental bond? That would explain the voice in my head. I looked back up at Five.
“How did I get such an attractive soulmate?” I wondered, but then I realized he probably heard that and I felt completely flustered.
“Not to bad yourself,” Five thought smirking at me. I felt my cheeks flush and I looked away.
“Fuck me,” I thought wanting to escape the situation I found myself in.
“Take me out to dinner first,” He replied and I choked on my tea. I gave him a wide eyed stare and he chuckled but tried to hide it behind his hand.
“Don’t laugh!” I exclaimed not being able to stop myself from laughing as well.
“Is little Five smiling?” Someone asked like they just saw the most bizarre thing in the world. I looked to my left and saw a man, who had amazing taste if I do say so myself, sit down next to Five.
“What are you doing Klaus,” Five said with a glare.
“He’s never going to let this go,” Five thought.
“Is it so bad that I want to see what my little brother is doing?” Klaus asked putting a hand over his heart pretending to be sad/shocked.
“I’m not giving you any money,” Five retaliated with a huff.
“Wha-?” Klaus lets out with wide eyes which soon turn into puppy dog eyes. “Can’t I just see why my brother is sitting with a pretty young lady?” Klaus put his attention on to me and give me a wide grin, “My name is Klaus, nice to meet you!”
“(Y/n), nice to meet you as well!” I grinned back. Klaus glanced behind him before standing up.
“It was nice meeting Five’s love interest but I have to head out now,” Klaus smiles at us before continuing. “Make sure you use protection.” Once again my cheeks flushed and I felt my eyes widen.
“Ignore my sad excuse of a brother,” Five sighed out like that one moment drained all his energy.
“I think he was funny,” I laughed slightly. Five rolled his eyes but I noticed the faintest of grins rested on his face.
“I’m glad she likes him,” Five thought and a happy grin rested on my face. We sat in silence for a bit enjoying each others company. I saw the time and realized I needed to head home. I packed my computer in my backpack and stood up. I felt Five’s gaze on me and I gave him an apologetic smile.
“I have to head home now,” I explained and he nodded in understanding.
“Meet me here at 2pm tomorrow,” Five said handing me a paper that held an address. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
“Uhm...okay,” I nodded slowly.
“Then it’s a date,” Five smirked and walked off.
“I wonder what their favorite movie is...” I heard Five think and I realized what type of date it’s going to be.

Banners and streamers littered the courtyard of the Umbrella Academy. The bright laughter of children echoed through the air, as the adults sat around the table sipping cocktails. (Y/n) was perched in Five’s lap, his head rested on her shoulder.
“I really don’t know how you guys do it.” Allison laughed. “I am SO glad that Claire wasn’t born with any powers. Must be a recessive gene or something.” Luther’s huge hand rested on her knee.
“Yeah, Claire is a handful without her being able to rumor us into getting literally everything she wants. I can’t even imagine.” Klaus deposited another tray of drinks on the table, taking a seat amongst his siblings.
“You guys haven’t even had to babysit yet, consider yourself lucky. Last weekend, she reversed time FOUR times just so she could eat the pizza we ordered again. And again, and again.” Klaus laughed, glancing over at the young girl, playing with a group of her schoolmates. “She’s probably going to rewind this whole party so she can do it again, you can tell she’s loving all of the attention.”
“Oh come on guys, we don’t give her free reign over time travel. We can’t help she’s a prodigy.” (Y/n) rolled her eyes, sipping her drink. “She hasn’t even started doing time jumps yet, thank God. I’ll probably have a head full of grey hair when she does.”
Five squeezed his wife gently. “You know I’ve got it under control when she does. She’s learning from the best.” She elbowed him playfully, pressing a quick kiss to his temple.
“With my luck, you’re going to get her stuck as a five year old and we’ll be dealing with THIS for the rest of our lives.” She gestures over at the child, who was now in a tug of war match with another child, screaming all the while. Vanya rose from her seat, making her way towards the children.
“Aunt Vanya’s got this, you guys stay put and enjoy the party.” The couple watched as Vanya crouched down, consoling the crying child. Scooping her up in her arms, she made her way back to the table. “I think it might be time for little D to take a nap, what do you think sweetheart?”
“But it’s my party,” the dark haired girl hiccupped through her tears, outstretching her arms towards Five and (Y/n). “Mommy I want more cake, can I have more cake?” (Y/n) stretched out her arms, cradling the child, and Five reached down to ruffle her hair.
“In just a little while, I think you’re getting cranky because you’re tired.” Five murmured over (Y/n)’s shoulder. The little girl peered up at them.
“Okay, so if I take a nap, I can have more cake?” She yawned, snuggling further into her parents’ embrace.
“Of course, you can even take your nap in the special hammock if you want. You’re the birthday girl, after all!” (Y/n) carefully stood, carrying the weight of the child, placing her gently in the brightly colored hammock.
While (Y/n) tucked the child in, Five peered over at Diego. “So, dear brother. How many more months til we meet your little one?” Diego grinned over at (Y/f/n) as she rubbed her swollen belly.
“We’re in the last trimester. Probably three or four more weeks before our little asskicker is born.” He beamed. “I can only hope our kiddo gets the badass gene. I’ll have her throwing knives before she can even say her first words.” (Y/f/n) rolled her eyes, and peered down at her belly.
“You better not. Our little Grace can choose if she wants to use her powers or not…That is, if she’s born with them. Seems like kind of a crapshoot, since we’re one for two with the Hargreeves spawns right now.” Klaus and Vanya look at one another.
“We’re both going to adopt. No freaking way are we trying to pass this down to anyone.” They share a laugh, as (Y/n) makes her way back to the table.
“What’d I miss?” She says, glancing at the family, sipping on her drink.
“Oh, just discussing the…What did she call it? The Hargreeves spawns?” Five patted his lap and (Y/n) plopped back down comfortably. “I wonder if our next one will have any abilities.”
“Oh slow your roll, Five. There’s no way we’re having any more for a WHILE, maybe ever. Dolores is a handful enough. Can you even imagine?”
“I mean, I never imagined having kids at all. Now I have a beautiful wife, my daughter is the next head of the Commission, and the family is back together sharing cocktails in the courtyard of the home we hated. Of all the impossible things that could have happened, I think anything is possible now.” He placed his hand on her cheek, turning her head towards him. Placing a firm, loving kiss to her lips, she smiled warmly at her husband.
“When I was a 12 year old girl, this was just a big, impossible dream. Now that I have it, I wouldn’t trade it for anything, in any timeline.” She kissed him again, more passionately, as a bright blue light and a pop resonated from the hammock. Five pressed his forehead against his wife’s, exhaling exhaustedly.
“Damnit, Dolores.”

I looked all around my room. There was a certain hoodie I was looking for and it was no where to be found. I let out a groan, I really wanted to wear that hoodie. Opening my contacts I clicked on the one person that I knew would know where it is. The phone rang a couple times before I heard the person on the other side call out a ‘hello’.
“Five have you seen my hoodie?” I asked crossing an arm over my chest, waiting for his reply.
“No,” He replied...a bit too quickly.
“...you’re wearing it aren’t you,” I sighed out pinching the bridge of my nose. Ever since I met Five he’s had the habit of stealing my clothes. From hoodies, to shirts, to even socks! You name it, he’s stolen it.
Five stayed silent, basically answering my question. I felt a small smile make its way onto my face, I can’t stay mad at the guy.
Chuckling slightly I said, “It’s fine if you are, I don’t mind.”
He let out a sigh, “So what if I am?”
Rolling my eyes I responded, “Calm down, I already said it’s okay, plus I find it adorable that you steal my clothes. Well sorry to cut this convo short but I gotta go. Talk to you soon!” With that I hung up making my way downstairs.

Meanwhile Five sat at his desk, his cheeks slightly warm. He tucked is nose in the neck of the hoodie to hide his flushed cheeks. The way they make him feel is something he’s never felt before.

I hummed to myself as I made my way up the stairs and to Five’s room. In my hands I held a plate of breakfast. It was the first day after the apocalypse that we ended. Five had been overworking himself the entire time and now it’s time for him to relax. That is my set goal at the moment. I swayed gently to the tune of “Time in A Bottle” By Jim Croce that was playing in my head.
I opened the door to reveal a sleeping Five. Yet he looked distressed and I knew I had to wake him up. I sat down on the bed next to Five and placed the tray of food on the table next to the bed.
“Five,” I whispered out gently placing a hand on his shoulder. “Five you’re having a nightmare.” His brows furrowed and he started to toss and turn and I felt myself frown. “Five wake up,” I said a bit more sternly, shaking him a bit. Finally he sat up panting, his eyes frantically taking in his surroundings. “Hey, hey,” I called out gaining his attention. “You’re okay, everything’s fine. The apocalypse is no longer happening,” I said softly.
Five looked away, seemingly embarrassed about the situation. I rubbed his back gently and he relaxed a bit.
“I made you some breakfast,” I said changing the subject and Five gave me a thankful look. I smiled and grabbed the tray placing it on his lap.
“You didn’t have to do that,” He whispered looking at the array of food. Five was being unusually soft, that nightmare must’ve really shaken him up. Or maybe he just trusts me enough to show me his more vulnerable side. I mean after everything we’ve been through, I’d be surprised if he didn’t trust me.
“I know,” I started. “But I wanted to. You need to rest after everything we’ve been through. You’ve had so much pressure pushed on you, but now you can finally relax. I know you’d need help doing that, so that’s what I’m here for!”
Five looked me in the eyes and we held eye contact for a good bit. I noticed a small smile make it’s way onto his face but he looked down at his food to try and hide it. A smile made it’s way onto my face at that as he started to eat.
“Thank you,” He muttered, still staring at the food. That’s something you won’t hear everyday from Five.
“Of course,” I replied. “I care about you.” It was silent, the only noise being the fork against the plate. Once Five finished I went to take the plate but he didn’t let me. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as he placed the pate on the table.
Five scooted over to the other side of his bed and patted the space next to him. I also scooted over more and we sat next to each other. Hesitantly he placed his head on my shoulder and I unconsciously started to play with his hair. It was a peaceful moment that I wish I could live in forever. Over time we ended up laying down, Five resting his head in the crook of my neck as I had an arm draped over him, the other still messing with his hair. It was such a tender moment and I could feel my heart swell.
Finally Five gets what he deserves. A nice life with his family and the people he cares about.

43 people were born October 1st, 1989. That was normal. What wasn’t normal was the fact that all mothers had no signs of pregnancy beforehand. I was one of those 43, my name being (y/n) (l/n). I was young when my parents died. They were killed, and that’s where the commission comes in.
I was seen as a tool, not human. They killed my parents and took me and trained me to become a killer. My power was dangerous and can be uncontrollable if my emotions get the best of me. I have a power that people nicknames ‘The Touch of Death’. It only works when I feel hate consume me.
The Commission has taught me how to control my power, which is the only good thing I can say about them. They only taught me how to control this power I hold, but they also trained me to become a top time assassin. I was killing at the age of 10 and they showed no remorse.
I hated killing. I despised it. I felt more and more dirty the longer I worked. I felt my humanity wash away along with the metaphoric blood of my victims. I’m lucky that when I kill it causes a heart attack. The world always seemed dull when all I did was kill. I barely remember the smiles of my parents. Let alone the last time I ever smiled.
A pneumatic tube was sent to me, alerting me that my short break was over. I opened the door to my side table and opened the tube. Taking out the paper it read;
Visit the Handler immediately.
I got up and made my way to the main commission office without question.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☂
I knocked on the door and I heard the dreaded voice I oh so hate chirp a ‘come in’. I enter the room and try not to let my hatred for the Handler bubble over, good thing I have my safety gloves on.
“(Y/n) dear!” She smiled sickingly sweet. “Just in time, I’d like you to meet your new partner, Five.” I looked at the man who sat across from her. He had black hair, deep blue eyes, and was wearing a new crisp suit. “Please, have a seat,” The Handler basically demanded. I sat down after I was done analyzing the new recruit. He had a cold gaze, and looked very tense.
“I don’t need a partner,” Five hissed out with a glare thrown at me. I felt my short temper tick, yet the Commission trained me well.
“I know you don’t,” The Handler cooed out. “But this mission is tough and the Commission wants to make sure all contracts stay intact.” She looked over the both of us and leaned back in her chair, “You see (y/n) here is a loyal worker who has been with us for a little over 10 years, she will show you the ropes and then you both can go on your marry ways.”
I glanced at Five, so the Commission doesn’t trust him yet. Makes sense why’d they send me then, if he tries something I can easily stop him. I nodded my head as The Handler handed us both a file.
“This will be your first target,” She spoke out. I read over it quickly, keeping notes of the important parts before handing it to Five who rudely snatched it out of my hand. “You are now both excused.” I stood up and started to walk to the briefcase room, not even waiting for my new partner to catch up. I heard fast paced footsteps as he caught up giving me another glare. That seems to be all he can do.
“Do you even talk?” He asked raising an eyebrow. So out of spite I stayed quiet and shrugged my shoulders. He let out an irritated sigh, and for once in a very long time did I feel some sort of enjoyment. Childish of me, I agree, yet I still found it amusing at how I can annoy Five.
“Hey Mark,” I spoke out quietly to the man who keeps track of the cases. “Need a case.”
“Alright,” He nodded writing my name down, then slowly glanced to Five. “New partner? What happened to the last one?”
I let out a sigh and crossed my arms, “Not fit enough for the Commission.” Five looked at me wearily, not trusting me, which I don’t blame.
Mark nodded in understanding, “What’s your name new guy?”
“The name’s Five, not new guy,” Five glared. That’s really all he does huh.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☂
“This will be your kill,” I mutter out as Five and I scope out our target. “This is sort of a pledge to make sure you won’t just run away. Not that you’d get far.”
“I’m sure I could manage,” He replied giving me a sarcastic smile. Five took out his weapon of choice, that being a sniper, and took aim. I watched as he furrowed his brow in concentration, shutting one eye. After a few seconds, he took the shot. Yet the target moved away the second the bullet shot out. They of course became frantic and I quickly stood up.
I tried to rush towards the house but Five stopped me. I looked back with a slight glare until he used his power and teleported us. Wait he has powers? I shook my head and took my gloves off. I thought about how much I hate killing and hate the Handler as Five restrained the target. He gave me a confused look as I walked over without a gun or knife.
“Where’s your weapon?” He asked looking me over. I went and touched the targets face, which turned from fear/shock, to pain immediately after I touched them. I put my gloves back on as I watched their heart give out on them.
My hatred vanished as that normal empty feeling afterwards came. I let out a sigh as the person finally collapsed and Five stared in shock.
“What the hell did you do?” He whisper shouted.
“You’re not the only one with powers,” I responded bitterly, already making my way out of the house.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☂
Turns out that Five being my partner wasn’t just a one time thing. In fact we were ‘better as partners’ as the Handler put it. So we had to tolerate each other for much longer than we originally thought.
“You seem young to be working here for 10 years,” Five brought up. We were currently in a motel to rest. I felt my face harden. Yet knowing Five for as long as I have now...well it wouldn’t be fair to not tell him.
“The Commission killed my parents and trained me to be a weapon,” I explained briefly with the shrug of my shoulders.
“Oh,” He responded awkwardly.
“It’s not like you killed them,” I tried to ease the awkwardness. “Why are you working for the Commission?”
“I was stuck in the apocalypse,” Five replies looking at me in the eye. “I had no other way out.” I felt my old empathetic and sympathetic side come back. That must’ve been terrible.
“Oh,” I replied, just as Five had done to me. Five continued to look me over making me feel slightly uncomfortable. “Is there something wrong?”
“Do you enjoy it?” He asked. “The killing.”
“No,” I responded immediately. “To be honest I hate it. In fact, I’ve always wanted to live a quiet life with a pet or two. Read a nice book while drinking tea during a sunset in a nice cottage house.” I trusted Five enough to tell him my dreams. He was brutally honest and I’m always a good judge of character. Plus the bond that grew between us for the past few months made me trust him 10x more.
He stared at me for a few seconds before saying, “I have a plan.” I sent him a confused look as he continued. “I’m going to stop the apocalypse, but in order to do that I need to perfect this equation I can use to travel to 2019.” I felt my eyes widen, possibilities running wild through my head.
“Why are you telling me this?” I question sitting down next to him.
“I know I can trust you,” He whispered back. At that moment, I felt something that I haven’t in a long time. “And I want you to come with me when the time comes.”
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☂
“(Y/n),” Five looked at me after setting up his sniper, just like he did the first time. “It’s time.”
I gave him a knowing look, and unconsciously I felt myself smile. This was it, I was finally going to leave the nightmare that I lived. I felt the hope that consumed me when he originally told me his plan fully blossom.
“Let’s go then,” I said with a small smile, which he reciprocated.

It has been around a week since I first came here. The only one who has been in and out of the house besides Five and I was Klaus. He really seemed to like me and sometimes he would get me some treats, which I loved every sugary treat he would give me. It’s weird because everything is a off brand version of what I know. Little Debbie Cakes? Nah, now it’s Tiny Tammy Confection.
Anyways as I was saying, normally it’s just us three in the house. So when Five went off to do something, and Klaus was out with a friend, I was home alone. Just like how this crazy stuff started. So you can tell how freaked I was when Luther walked into the kitchen as I was eating a peanut butter and marsh mellow sandwich (shut up Five got me into them). I guess he must’ve been just as surprised.
“Who are you?” Luther asked defensively.
I swallowed my food before saying, “A friend of Five’s.”
“Oh,” He said awkwardly and it was just so awkward.
“Uhm, I’m (y/n),” I smiled politely. “It’s nice to finally meet you.”
Luther gave me a confused, “Finally?”
“She’s from a dimension where we are characters in a popular show,” Five explained walking into into room.
“What?” Luther asked looking at me with wide eyes.
“Yeah,” I smiled sheepishly. Five handed me a cup of coffee and I gave him a soft ‘thank you’. Luther just nodded.
“Well uh, it’s nice to meet you too,” Luther smiled back before walking out. I wondered if he needed anything. I went to take another bite of my sandwich only to find it gone. I looked around and found it in the hands of Five.
“How dare you?!” I asked with fake hurt and put my hand over my chest.
“You’ve been hanging out with Klaus a lot haven’t you?” Five asked with a smirk and I pouted.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☂
Klaus and I were hanging out at the moment. He was painting my nails (f/c) as we talked about whatever came to our heads.
“Did you know window’s aren’t a solid or a liquid?” I asked as Klaus gave me a confused look.
“Why would it be liquid?” He asked.
“Because the molecules flow down,” I replied back.
“You sound like Five,” Klaus laughed slightly. Then the door opened showing Diego. He looked surprised at the scene.
“What’s...uh,” He asked giving me a suspicious look.
“Meet Five’s girlfriend,” Klaus introduced falsely.
“I’m not Five’s girlfriend,” I defended with a blush and looked to Diego. “I’m (y/n).”
“Diego,” He introduced even though he didn’t have to.
“She knows,” Klaus hums going back to finish my nails. “She’s from another dimension.”
“Yeah,” I smiled awkwardly. “I guess I was originally from this dimension but was brought to another, and Five brought me back.”
Diego nodded, “Hey Klaus, I just wanted to let you know that you have someone waiting for you downstairs.”
“I totally forgot they were coming,” Klaus said with wide eyes. A smile took over his features, “Aaaaaand done, cya around (n/n)!” Klaus rushed out of the room and left Diego and I to be awkward in the room. He ended up just waving goodbye and left the room.

Today was a whole Hargreeves family visit. Allison is bringing Claire to meet everyone and boy was I nervous. I told Five that maybe I should stay in a hotel for a week but he said that I would have to meet them sometime. I mean he’s right but I just felt like this was going to be an intimate family thing but Five was adamant on me staying.
I made sure I dressed nicely (Klaus took me out shopping because I needed my own clothes) so I made good first impressions. I smoothed out my shirt looking at myself in the mirror to make sure everything was perfect. I know I already met most of the family but I really liked Vanya and Allison. I then noticed Five standing in the doorway with an almost smile which made my heart flutter.
“You look nice,” Five said crossing his arms. “C’mon thery’re gonna be here soon.” I nodded and let out a breath to try and calm myself. I got this. I walked with Five to the parlor, Klaus also being there along with Diego.
Diego looked at me for a second before saying, “Should she be here?”
Five gave him a nasty glare, “Of course she should be.”
“She’s a family friend Diego,” Klaus smiled throwing an arm around my shoulders. Five made Klaus let go of me which made the man child whine. Then the sound of the front door opening alerted us. In came in Vanya followed by Luther.
“Hey guys,” Vanya smiled at her siblings, then her eyes fell onto me. “Oh hello!”
“Hey,” I waved. “I’m (y/n), nice to meet you.”
“You as well,” Vanya agreed. “I’m Vanya.”
“I like your name,” I complimented and she thanked me shyly. I sat between Five and Klaus as everyone else took there seats. We waited for Allison and Klaus help kept the conversation going.
“So then (n/n) over here had to restrain Five!” Klaus exclaimed with a laugh. “You should’ve seen it!” I couldn’t help but laugh as Five rolled his eyes.
“How long have you been here (y/n)?” Vanya asked.
“A month and six days,” Five responded for me. Vanya’s eyes widened and her mouth parted slightly.
“Wow,” She said. “You’ve been here for a long time.”
“Yeah,” I smiled sheepishly rubbing my arm slightly.
Then once again the front door opened and in came Allison and Claire. I once again felt my nerves sky rocket and I gripped my pants tightly. Five noticed how tense I looked but didn’t know what to do to help. So instead Klaus ended up holding my hand to try and calm me down and I gave him a thankful smile.
Claire came rushing in and smiled at us all, pulling Allison behind her.
“Mommy!” Allison exclaims. “They’re all here!”
Allison smiled lovingly and chuckled slightly, “They were all very excited to meet you.” Everyone got up and went to hug Claire, well Five shook her hand but still, it was so cute and wholesome.
Then Claire saw me, “Mommy, who is that?” Allison looked at me and tilted her head.
“This is (y/n),” Klaus said with a smile. “She’s a friend.” I felt out of place once again and I waved awkwardly.
“Cool!” She exclaimed with a toothy smile. “What can you do?”
“I-I don’t have a power,” I smiled nervously.
“Claire,” Allison warned lightly. “Apologize.”
“Oh no it’s okay,” I dismissed with a wave. “I don’t mind. I don’t even think I should be here.” I whispered the last part.
“Then why are you here?” Luther asked and I felt myself glare at him.
“Five wouldn’t leave me alone otherwise,” I blamed giving him a sly grin.
“Don’t go blaming me,” Five glared with embarrassment.
“So you wouldn’t mind me leaving right now?” I asked making my way towards the door. Five blinked in front of the door blocking me from leaving and gave me a strong glare. I couldn’t help but smile and grabbed Five’s hand and dragging him back to where we were.
With that I got to know the Hargreeves better. Claire was a sweetheart and Allison was very nice. Diego seemed to get used to me and Vanya seemed to like me. Luther seemed to tolerate me while Klaus and Five well...they were they same. After the day came to an end and all the rooms were taken up I was moved to Five’s room temporarily. I was already changed into pajama’s and I was sitting on Five’s bed.
“It wasn’t awful now was it,” Five spoke up walking into his room.
“I guess not,” I shrugged. “But I don’t think Allison wanted me here.” I gave him a pointed glare with a pout.
He rolled his eyes and walked over to the bed sitting next to me, “She’ll warm up, she probably was just not prepared to meet someone.”
“Why didn’t you tell her I’d be here?” I asked with big puppy eyes.
“Too much of a hassle,” Five shrugged with a smirk.
I let out a gasp, “How dare you!” He let out a tiny laugh but tried to hide it behind his hand. I let out a gasp and couldn’t help but to squeal and jump slightly on the bed.
“I made you laugh!” I exclaimed with pure joy.
“Shut up,” Five responded not being able to look at me and...omg were his cheeks red?
Then the sound of footsteps quickly coming filled the room. The entire Hargreeves family (-Claire) rushed to the doorway. The sounds of concern filled the room as they all overlapped each other asking what happened.
I let out a giggle and Five glared at me, “I made Five laugh!” I could tell they were all surprised as Klaus busted out laughing.
“You two are so cute,” Klaus sighed out with a hand over his heart. I gave Five a quick hug and his reaction was to push me away but he seemed like he couldn’t move. Almost like I rendered him motionless. When I pulled away I could hear his family murmuring and walking off, some of them making sure to slightly tease Five before fully leaving.

I watched what I normally do when my family is out of the house. I was also reading fanfiction, so I was currently multitasking. It felt like any other day. Then the doorbell rang. I felt the anxiety crawl through my skin. I was always taught to not answer the door (unless it’s a known order like pizza or something). So I ignored the ring and continued to watch the show/video/movie.
Then something unusual happened. I heard a woosh like noise as well as footsteps. I felt my heart start hammering in my chest at the thought of a stranger currently being in the house with me. I quickly pulled up 911, but before I could call something unreal happened.
My bedroom door opened revealing Five Hargreeves. Wait...or would it be Aiden Gallagher? But Aiden would not just show up in a random person’s house like this. Five doesn’t exist though! Oh jeeze what the hell is going on. This has to be a dream right? But I’ve never had a dream this concise before. I couldn’t seem to speak or even breath as we just stared at each other.
“Good,” He spoke up. “You’re here. Get dressed we have to go.” My mind reeled as I couldn’t seem to process what the fuck was going on.
“Who the hell are you and why are you in my house?” I questioned, trying to hide my slightly shaky hands.
He rolled his eyes while muttering, “We don’t have time for this.” He sighed and gave me a strained smile, “I’ll explain on the way, okay?”
“B-but my parents-”
“You’re parents won’t be here much longer if you don’t just come with me,” He glared. I gulped but stood up.
“Okay,” I nodded. “I’ll change really quickly.”
After I changed, we got into the car.
“So who are you?” I asked.
“Five,” He replied.
“Five Hargreeves?” I asked meekly glancing at his stoic face.
He shot me a look of surprise and distrust before saying, “How do you know that?”
“Uhm!” I said feeling a small blush form on my cheeks. I have literally been obsessing over the old, caffeine addicted male for I can’t even remember how long. I couldn’t just tell him that though! Let alone that his and his siblings lives are a Netflix show that I’ve watched more than once. “Wait is there an apocalypse happening?” I asked with great concern looking over to him quickly. He glanced at me again, his eyes narrowed in suspicion.
“Shit,” Five muttered, eyes widening. “You work for the commission don’t you, this whole thing was a trap.”
“Wha?” I sounded out with wide eyes. “No way! I’m too unfit for the Commission anyways. I can barely walk up stairs without losing breath.”
“Then how do you know so much,” He continued.
“You wouldn’t believe me,” I sighed.
“Try me,” Five replied pulling into a parking lot for a...abandoned Blockbuster? I thought they were all wiped out. Whatever. Five parked the car and turned to me with a calculating gaze.
“What if I said you are a character from a show I watched along with all your siblings,” I spewed out quickly, not making eye contact. I noticed his eyebrow furrow as he processed what I said.
“What do you mean?” He asked.
“Well I mean it was also a comic, though I still have to read that,” I rambled on but stopped myself. “There’s a show called The Umbrella Academy where you try to stop the apocalypse twice, season three still has to come out though.”
I fidgeted with my hands as he raised an eyebrow. He seemed to be amused with himself as he said, “The Commission would never make such a ridiculous story, okay let’s continue then.”
“Hey!” I shouted as he got out of the car. “It may be ridiculous but it’s true!” I scrambled out of the car as I followed behind him. “And you never answered my question!”
“Well if what you say is right, then you probably already know,” Five shrugged. We entered the Blockbuster and my heart dropped at his smooth words. I forgot this was basically a daily thing for him, but I, on the other hand, was used to my mundane and normal life. Yeah I’ve read fan fic that had this scenario, but I never thought it would actually happen! I took a few deep breaths as Five took out a oh so familiar briefcase, yet it looked a little modified.
“Wait,” I stopped to which I could tell I was definitely starting to irritate him. “What do I have to do with this?”
“Let’s just say you don’t belong here,” Five said mysteriously and I became even more confused. What does he mean? All I can remember is growing up and living my life here, no time stuff, no weird fantasy stuff, just...a normal life. Before I could ask another question he glared at me, “Like I said, I’ll explain everything later, just come with me.”
For all I know he could be leading me to my slaughter. Yet knowing Five, he only would’ve killed me if he needed to and he would’ve done it right away. Plus this was my literal dream, so might as well enjoy the ride. Five grabbed the suitcase, knowing that I had to touch him so we both can go, I held onto his shoulder which tensed under my touch. Within a blink we were engulfed in a blue light. Then we were standing in the Hargreeves mansion. Holy fuck, if this was a dream please don’t wake me up.
Five seemed much more relaxed now and walked over to the bar in the parlor room. I followed him like a lost puppy, I mean where else would I go? He set the briefcase down and started to make a drink. I felt a little awkward but I still had a ton of unanswered questions.
“Five,” I called out and he didn’t even bother to turn around. “C-could you now explain what’s going on?”
“Yeah yeah,” He sighed out. “Have a seat.” I sat down on the barstool next to him and he offered me a drink. You know what, might as well. I accepted the drink with a small smile and we clinked our glasses.
“The Commission took you when you were a baby,” Five began explaining. “They took you from this dimension and took you to a different one. The Handler seemed to enjoy chaos and you being in that dimension affects ours gravely.”
I took in this information and whispered out, “No one is insignificant.” Five raised an eyebrow in question and I responded, “A quote said by you.” He nodded and a smirk formed on his lips.
“So you quoted me before?” He asked, his ego seemed to expand a bit.
Then I remembered all the times me and my friend would shout ‘I’M THE DADDY HERE’, which technically we were quoting him. I felt a smirk overcome my face as I gave him a sly grin.
“Wanna know your most popular quote?” I asked resting my elbow on the bar table, also resting my head.
“Sure,” He replied taking a sip of his drink, eyes never leaving my figure, which internally flustered me.
“I’m the daddy here!” I shouted out giggling after like a madman. Suddenly the familiar brother of Five that I loved possibly even more than Five entered.
“Five what type of party are you having-” Klaus stopped in his tracks and stared at me. “You have a girl over!” Five let out a sigh and took an even bigger sip of his drink. I felt my inner fangirl try to consume me as I bit my lip.
“Hi,” I squeaked out and Five glared at Klaus.
“Hello,” Klaus replied with a smile. “So how did you meet my dear little brother?”
“Long story,” I smiled awkwardly.
“I got time,” Klaus smiled sitting down on a stool next to me, grabbing a drink that Five previously made. So I explained everything, from being from another dimension, to the fact they were a tv show where I was from.
“Who’s your favorite?” Klaus asked eagerly with a childlike excitement.
“That’s a tough question,” I groaned out. “Either you, Ben, Vanya, Allison, Diego, or Five.”
“That’s all of us,” Five pointed out. “Besides Luther.”
“Yeah I know,” I shrugged sipping my drink. “I can’t choose.”
“Why not Luther?” Klaus asked genuinely curious.
“The whole ‘dad sent me to the moon’ stuff irritated me, I liked him a little more in season 2,” I explained. “Yet Diego was really getting on my nerves in season 2 with the whole JFK thing. Also when everybody ignored how much Five went through seeing you all die so many times like ugh-”
Five cut me off with a warning tone, “(Y/n).” Klaus seemed surprised by what I just said and I let out a cough nervously.
“Sorry about that,” I let out a nervous laugh as Five gave me a murderous glare. “Didn’t mean to...say all that.” Klaus looked between Five and I, a tiny smirk forming on his face. Oh no, this wasn’t going to be good.
“So you know a lot about Five huh,” Klaus asked with a raised eyebrow.
“I know a lot about all of you,” I shrugged. “Some stuff you guys might not even know about yourselves, or maybe that’s just me assuming stuff, who knows?”
“Tell me something about Five,” Klaus persisted.
“Don’t,” Five spoke out.
“I won’t,” I agreed. “The stuff I ‘know’ is kinda personal and I don’t wanna say stuff that may not be real either.”
“Awe,” Klaus pouted. “No fun.” Klaus stood up and walked away, “See ya!” Then it became awkward between Five and I. He stared at his drink as I kept giving him glances. Then realization hit me, where will I go? I don’t have friends or family, and I don’t have a job or money. Am I even a resident of the United States here? Oh god now I’m panicking.
“Hey Five?” I whispered out.
“Hm?” He questioned out, alerting me I gained his attention.
“Where will I go?” I asked. He looked at me in confusion. “I don’t have any money, or a job, or no where to stay.”
“I didn’t expect you to go anywhere for a bit,” Five shrugged like it was obvious. “We have to find your birth information along with your social security card, then you can get a job and whatever you want from there.” I felt my heart thump as the thought of Five actually caring enough to not kick me to the street filled my head.
“Y-you don’t have to,” I stuttered out staring into his eyes.
He rolled his eyes, “I’m not cruel enough to kick you out with nothing.” I felt a tiny smile make it’s way onto my face, never in a million years did I think any of this would happen, yet it was.
“That’s very sweet of you,” I said sending him a smile. He looked away and continued to consume his beverage.
can you do an imagine where five (he’s 18 or a little bit older, no pedophile shit) and the reader find out they’re gonna be parents and how five acts in the delivery room?

I looked at the bump of my belly with a gentle smile. Any day now, any day now and I would give birth. The father? Well the father is the one and only Five Hargreeves. We finally became an item and then even married. It may seem rushed for two 25 year olds to be married and a child already on the way, but after Five and I living a life on the go constantly, I think we were doing well.
The reaction Five had when he found out he was going to be a dad was priceless. I felt a bigger smile tug at my lips at the thought.
I stared at the test in my hand. Positive, I was gonna be a mother. Five was going to be a father. Was this too quick? Does he even want a child? To be a father? What if, what if, what if. I was scared to tell Five the news, yet I knew he needed to know.
As I walked out of the bathroom I leaned on the doorway, test still in hand. Five sat at the desk in our shared room, writing down something. I felt myself want to calm down at the sight, yet my heart wouldn’t stop beating erratically. He glanced up at me and raised an eyebrow.
“Is there something wrong?” Five asked, his attention fully on me now, eyes laced with slight worry.
“I’m pregnant,” I said quickly. Better to rip the band aid off then to slowly take it off. His eyebrows nearly shot up to his hairline as he looked at me with great surprise.
He stared at me for a few seconds, taking in the information before saying, “I’m gonna be a dad?” I nodded, looking towards the ground. I heard the sound of his chair scraping as he got up and walked towards me. He lifted my head up using his hand, “Do you want me to be the father?” His voice held such insecurity I couldn’t help but gasp.
“Of course I do Five!” I exclaimed. “I love you, I always have and always will!”
“But what if I turn out like my father?” Five couldn’t help but ask looking away and dropping his hand away from me. I grabbed his cheeks and forced him to look at me.
“You thinking that let’s me know right off the bat you’d be better than him,” I said softly. “Plus we’ve known each other for so long and got a second chance, not many people get that and I know you won’t let it slip through your fingers.” I pulled his head down a bit so I could give him a quick peck on the lips.
“I love you,” He mumbled into my neck as he pulled me into a hug.
“We love you twice as much.”
That moment seemed so long ago yet it also seemed like it was yesterday. Five always made sure he took care of me. He gave me whatever I asked for (as long as it didn’t hurt my pregnancy) and made sure I was comfortable (as comfortable as I could get). I was currently in the kitchen, Five sleeping in bed. I was making some eggs because, as little as the gesture was, I wanted to make sure Five felt appreciated.
I hummed gently. Then I felt water leak down my legs. I looked down and I felt my heart hammer against my rib cage.
“Five!” I shouted in as a reflex and in less in a second he was by my side, eyes looking over my entire figure making sure I was okay and not injured or in danger.
“What,” He rushed out breathlessly.
“My water broke!” I exclaimed placing my hand over my belly bump. His eyes widened even more as he brought me to the car in slight hurry and sped off towards the nearest hospital. I held onto his hand as I felt the contractions start and my eyes watered from the pain. I let out grunts and tried to not scream (which I might have failed at) the whole way. Five blinked into the hospital, alerting the staff of our little situation and they brought out a wheel chair and wheeled me in.
Once I was in the hospital and on the bed, the doctors and nurses were all around me. I looked around and couldn’t find my beloved.
“Where’s Five?” I groaned out as I pushed. “I want him here!” Then the next moment he came in, his hair disheveled since he wasn’t able to get ready, his eyes frantic and worried.
I held onto his hand tightly as he brushed some of my hair away from my sweaty face with his free one. He kept whispering reassuring words as I continued this hell of a ride.
It ended after 4 hours, which wasn’t that long one of the nurses told me. When the baby finally came I was able to hold it. She was beautiful. A part of me and Five. I felt completely exhausted as I looked up at Five who was still standing, staring at the two of us with one of the most loving expressions he’s ever wore.
“You can hold her Five,” I whispered out, breaking him from his slight trance.
“I-I...” He stumbled out. “Can I?”
“Of course you can silly,” I laughed slightly. I held her out to him and he gently held her in his arms. “You’re gonna be a great father.” I scooted over slightly and let him lay down next to me.
“Thank you,” Five whispered out to me as I laid my head on his shoulder. “Thank you for letting me live this life, for letting me settle down with you and have a kid.”
“Only for you Five,” I replied closing my eyes gently. Then I felt sleep consume me.
