Let me give another example. The k-pop band dbsk is collectively the most photographed person/group in the world. Apparently, the Guiness book of world record maintains that they have been collectively photographed over 500 million times. 500 million. So to an average fan, or even someone like myself who just googled them 5 minutes ago, you could essentially never run out of pictures of them. Yet, there is a limited number of pictures of them. I know I'm kind of rambing, but I guess what freaks me out more is things that are totally fixed. For example, I am obsessed with Pin-Up girls, both modern and vintage. You may have noticed. So It occurs to me that although it seems like there are always more vintage pin-up photos/illustrations/pictures to look at. And yet, there will never be any more pin-up pictures in the world from the 40s and 50s than there are today. Ever. In fact, there will probably be less in the future, because some will get lost. And I know that there is so much art out there to see, but It's theoretically possible I could see every extant piece of vintage pin-up artwork. And yet, all these things seem virtually infinite.
