I'm normally not someone who customizes figures but I got this racist appearing Avdol figure as a gift that I was not going to put up without fixing it 😅
I've never done this before so please be kind, I will not share the original figure but you can find it yourself online.
I changed: painted all silver pieces, the red shiny bits, made the gold more vibrant, his tassel to blue, his scarf to orange, added slightly lightened palms, and repainted his entire face.

It does seem like the figure was supposed to be his manga version? But the original colors were no way close to the Manga version as we're closer to the anime version and I was not going to repaint that whole coat.
So now I can put this figure up in my shelves without cringing!
