it's been brought to my attention that "putting up" laundry/dishes/etc. is not a universal phrase???? whAT I didn't even-- thats all I know how to SAY LIKE THATS WHAT IT'S CALLED

I don't know when I realized the phrase "fixing to" (ie. "I'm fixing to go to the store.") wasn't common vernacular in the whole country, but it feels weird knowing that everybody doesn't say it.
