For my next quarantine project, I will be fixing a GameCube that has trouble reading disks. I originally bought this GameCube a few months back as a piece to add to my Metal Gear collection. When it finally arrived, I discovered it couldn’t read disks. After trying to mess with it for awhile, it finally started to read disks. After extensive testing, I discovered it will read disks only after sitting for 10-15 mins powered on. A few weeks later, I got the screwdriver I needed to open it up, adjusted the potentiometer and viola, it works with little to no issues!
