TODAY
You know what? You’re alive. Fully breathing in and out and reading this right now. Even though I know you are not sure of a tomorrow, no one is but there is a big fat chance that you have your today left. However short or long it might be. so I want to ask you one question that in turn you actually have to ask yourself aloud. “What’s this stress is actually about?” and I want you to narrow it down to exactly how that thing is affecting your today or the next 24 hours lying ahead of you. You might not get the gist of all this in hardly a minute of reading this but even if you feel that you stressing about things is still valid then just think about this few sentences a few more times. Now returning back to my exact point, you might have a lot of shit going on in your life and for whatever phase you are in your life it might seem the biggest to you but stating it very simply for my own sake DON’T STRESS ABOUT THE TIME YOU ARE NOT IN RIGHT NOW. Just don’t. If you actually think about it, it does make sense.
It is one simple policy to hold onto. Don’t think how good/bad you did yesterday neither how good/bad you are going to do tomorrow. It actually works. More than you think it can. And when you realize this, you will actually know how much your pretty mind made a fuss in there. Well, to elaborate on the fact how you can handle things with calming your mind, here is how I do it. Whenever you realize that your mind is making an ugly bubble of stress just remind yourself that this thing should not and could not consume your today and if you do give this a deep thought (i.e. if you want to) you will actually come to realize that how much crap you are living with.
Closing this I just want you to realize that between how you survived your yesterday and how you are going to survive your tomorrow lies your today, maybe untouched but definitely slipping away.
