When stress and anxiety reach its peak, we have to surrender with all our devotion to God. When we enter the chaos, the only light that can save us from falling prey to our own negative personality is God's light. Depression is not a disease, it is a symptom that something is acting as a barrier between our happiness and bliss. The term depression is itself a very negative term, we can instead instruct ourselves that it's not depression which is weighing me down, but my own criticism and lack of self-love which is blocking the pathway to fully enjoy the life I'm destined to live. To live is to create something with the help of someone. Society will dictate and label you as insignificant or it will slowly turn you towards a negative path which will gradually deprecate your mental well-being. When you are experiencing extreme stress, consciously turn your attention to something productive, it could be a hobby or an unfulfilled task. In this busy world, we humans have forgotten to take a step back and just let the waves of calmness fill our souls with soothing sounds of nature, we can expand our awareness which is unlimited and filled with unwavering attention. We forget to set boundaries, and are forcefully clinging to beings and things which no longer serve a purpose. In order to create happiness, we have to struggle with our own self-criticism. Self-criticism is the killer of dreams. Desires are not bad, neither is spending time with yourself. When you pay attention to your own debilitating and raunchy thoughts, you'll notice that you are not meant to stay in that state forever. Your natural state is already peaceful and filled with unlimited happiness. No amount of stress can ever break a person's inner strength. When you give attention to negativity, your awareness focuses on the negative outcomes. When we try and fail, it surely makes us incapacitated, and degrades our mental state. It depletes our happiness, and we fall into the loop of constant struggle with more stressful situations. Sometimes, we have to absorb all the pain along with suffering in order to understand that it too is a part of life, and no individual is exempt from it. All humans struggle in one way or the other, seeking help in such situations can boost our self-confidence. Tasks like journaling and organizing our thoughts into categories of different emotions, is helpful to keep track of our mental health. Struggle is a natural response to life's unending problems, but giving up too early is the real barrier that stops us from extracting the sweetness and nectar that life has to offer. We struggle in order to achieve greatness because we have connected achievements with real life success. When we enable us to look beyond our own suffering and connect it with the suffering of the world, we can at least ensure that we are not alone. Success is incomplete without the hammer of struggle. Let's make a motto and say I am enough, I am complete, I am capable, and I am incessantly trying to make my life stress free from all the reasons fed into my mind from birth by the so-called society. Bliss isn't a state, it is a task that we must work upon, it doesn't come instantly. We think in duality, and as long as mind focuses on good and bad simultaneously, how can it achieve peace? At last I'll give you a serenity prayer designed to lower the amount of stress and anxiety which you experience. It goes like this : Dear God, please take all my actions, and fruits of those actions. I feel safe in your abode, and I expereience your presence all around me. I seek strength to face life's struggles, and in return I offer you my arrogance, anger, agony, pain, stress, anxiety, envy, lust, greed, delusion and attachment, so that I can feel free. 🕉️
